The MILWAUKEE M18 FUEL 12 in. Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw with ONE-KEY Kit generates the power of 15 Amp corded saws and is designed for the professional carpenter, remodeler and general contractor. The miter saw is up to 15% lighter than competitor saws and delivers up to 330 cuts per charge. It has the same capacity as corded a 12 in. miter saw, giving users the ability to perform all of their critical applications while increasing their portability, efficiency and productivity on the jobsite. The cordless miter saw features the Milwaukee POWERSTATE Brushless Motor, REDLINK Tool Technology and is powered by M18 REDLITHIUM batteries. The saw has a Shadow Cut Line LED light, an adjustable stainless steel detent plate, cam locking miter system and easy carry side handles, making it a leading miter saw solution. In addition to the saw, this kit includes one M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT HD12.0 battery, an M18 & M12 Rapid Charger, handles and clamp.

Great saw but had some issues
Saw is great but have had some issues the break went out after 5 months. Then the saw stopped working all together. Got replaced and the same thing happened the second one. But besides that cut true. Lighter weight make’s moving easier. Not a fan of plastic degree arrow. If the can get bugs worked out will ba a great saw.

Great saw, with a truly AWFUL dust bag zipper
Love the saw, everything up until - of all things - the dust collection bag fails.
Seriously? Who builds anything with a zipper that doesn't self-heal? YKK has been making them for decades, and maybe it would have cost a dollar more to buy a zipper that actually works.
Sorry to rant, but I am a homeowner who bought the tool more as a novelty rather than than to overuse it. And having to replace the whole collector assembly for the sake of a crappy zipper just adds insult.

I will not buy this product again !
I love how handy this tool is…. But you cannot rely on it. The brake on the blade stopped working after 3 weeks. Took 5 weeks in service before I could get it back. I used the saw only here and there since the repair. Now the blade can’t get to speed. I only have about 20 hrs of running too with it. I will consider a festool miter saw for my next one as this one was a big waste of money. Think twice before buying a cordless miter saw.. I ear from lots of people about having issue with their miter saw as well.

Good but needs a slide lock latch.
Good so far but needs a slide lock latch, minor injury to my thumb when I lifted it off the stand and slide lock screw wasn't enough to hold, safety issue

so far so good!
great little light saw. much easier to drag around than a 12". made a zero gap insert for it so I am sure it will be even better than the sloppy plastic one it comes with.

Quality is a huge let down
Bought this brand new through homedepot during the buy more save more event. Upon opening the box I notice some damage to the saw already. This is minor cosmetic damages that does not affect the performance, however it DOES raise a concern on the quality of the saw itself. I'm a huge milwaukee tool fan. Have over $10,000 invest in their tools and batteries for my home garage alone. And this has alter my perspective and confidence in the line. Overall for the price I got the saw for I cant complain, but i can not in good faith recommend Milwaukee tools if i continue to see this level of "quality."
