        Absolutely terrible endurance
If you like weedeating for more than 20 minutes at at time, or 30 feet sections without overheating, this is not the weedeater for you. Even with the 12.0 high output batteries it struggles to do the most basics of tasks. 10 minutes into a job it will have a noticeable dip in performance. By 20-25 minutes in you are forced to stop and wait an hour or two for it to cool down. If you have a very small yard than I can see this working, but it does not live up to the price tag.

It was easy to assemble. I have found that the spool wears out and needs to be replaced. Plenty of power for trimming.

I immediately started using this. I have two limbs as big as trees down. This thing is awesome. Not one hiccup yet. Battery lasted longer than I thought. Would buy again!

So much better than I could have expected
So, we just went through a crazy windstorm that ruined the Portland, OR area We had a tree split in half and crash in our yard. Go figure I was able to slice through everything with the 10"Mikwakuee pole chainsaw. Electric is so effortless. I took down a 12" section of tree with minimal effort on the saw or me. I just purchased the Milwaukee 16" saw for going forward. If the pole saw can take apart what I just did with it and leave with three bars of power, I'm sold.

            Tool melts battery terminals
I am happy with the operation of the unit overall, but it has melted the negative contact on my XC8.0 battery pack. I have seen many reports of this problem.

              FAIL - 2nd unit in a row
For the second Milwaukee M18 trimmer, it has had a failure in the head unit and is non operational. Here is a summary of the situation (and my next steps): PROPERTY: One acre property, with about 1/2 an acre in grass (with long common area with culvert and community mailbox). The remaining property is wooded. USE: Personal use around house, approximately every other week for about 2 hours of run time. FAILURE: At the head unit and shaft (breakage) PICTURES: Attached RESULT: Move to new brand

                M18 pole saw leaks
The M18 pole saw does it's job for my needs, however, it does leak when hanging it back up in ANY orientation. I'm very disappointed since the tool costs so much money, I wasn't expecting it to leak after it's first use. I do recommend it but only if you don't mind cleaning up the oil off your floor, workbench or packout system.
