Where can I buy the stand from?

Asked by SPanzek May 9, 2018

Milwaukee sells a stand for this saw that locks the saw to the stand and has one leveling leg for uneven floors like my garage.

Does this work with the 9.0 High Demand battery also?

The 9.0 will work, just won't last as long as the 112.0

When will it ship?

Previously a Home Depot Rep. told me they would be able to be ordered (I assumed that meant pre-ordered) off this site on May 17th. Obviously that has proved incorrect. Acme looks to have pre-orders up but I would like to stick with HD, if I can. Thx for the info. on the battery hold up Milwaukee. If you get any updated actual ship date please post. Oh, and for the love of ... please produce enough stock to meet demand!

Has anybody got a good instructions resource for this? I find the manual to be hard to understand...

First off there's a blade guard that came with it, install it, next don't allow your fingers (or any part of your body) inside or under the installed guard and you will retain all your digits. If you're still scared sell it, it's probably to much for you.

Does this saw have an electric brake like the other Milwaukee battery operated saws have?

Can this saw cut tile also

Asked by Mae February 14, 2019

This saw may cut tile, but it has no pervision for a water tray or water distribution. I would not cut tile.

does it operate with the 5 ah battery?

Asked by Taos001 February 25, 2020

Answers

It does but most use the smaller batteries while waiting for a larger High Output battery to charge. (Those batteries feed power to the saw from all of the internal batteries simultaneously grit grunt and staying cooler. Still? Using a 5ah does get the job done in that pinch.

A mix of imlressed and disappointed
Overall great saw, purchased under 3 months ago. Highly reccomend getting the stand with it. Would have given 5 stars easily if not for the fact that I the rule warped and eventually came clmpletely off after sitting in the sun for a coulle hours during a project. This is supposed to be a professional grade tool, it shouldnt start falling apart in the sun. I own around a dozen m18 tools and have never had to warranty anything before. So far it seems like their process is exclusive set up for repairing major mechanical issues. I really dont want to pay to ship a table saw in to get an adhesive-backed rule replaced

As a hobbyist/DIY individual I find cordless tools more convenient, and often without any sacrifices. This table saw is very powerful for its size, I've ripped dense hardwoods like Wenge without any issues. For a small project a small battery like 3AH or 5AH will work fine, but larger projects you'll end up needing a larger battery like 9AH or 12AH, and sometimes 2 if you're cutting all day. I find it really neat that Milwaukee put the effort in to make mounting points for all the attachment pieces right on the saw, even the blade wrench has a spot. This keeps all the pieces right with the saw, and in a nice box shape thats easy to store. The miter gauge is very cheap, but I don't hold that against the saw since thats something few probably end up using with a saw like this, and you could build a crosscut sled or buy a higher quality miter guage if you feel the need. The saw came almost perfectly square to the blade, a slight adjustment on the fence and blade angle and it was cutting perfectly square pieces. Overall I've put this saw to good use building cabinets for my garage, cutting vinyl plank flooring, and most recently ripping hardwoods for building chess boards.

So far I love it and it's totally meeting my expectations. I ripped like eight boards already with one battery and I still haven't even scratched the surface on the battery power. You'd never know you were using a battery powered table saw if you used it.

This things legit. It does prefer the 9 or 12 amp but you could get away with a couple cuts on a 6 but not recommended. Fires right up and cuts through plywood like butter. It even rips 2x4 lumber easily it does bog a little on treated but it’s doable. The fence was 1/8 out of wack when I got it but it’s easily adjustable with an Allen wrench.

I drove over an hour to a home depot that carried this, as none of the stores around me do. Got it home and there were multiple issues. Cracked metal, missing screws. As someone who is a die-hard Milwaukee user, I'm thoroughly disappointed in this product.

Goo Portable Saw
Generally, I find this saw to be fully capable of handling the majority of my work. Does Not Like Ripping 1x Oak or 2x pressure treated material. No problem ripping soft kiln dried wood. Rips 1x and 2x material.
