No. It uses the M18 battery, so you have to plug the battery into the charger. I have not used this feature since I have three batteries but the one battery has always been sufficient for the times I have used the light.

This work light is well made with an adjustable angle head. It is powered either by an 18 volt Lithium battery (not included) or you can connect an AC cord to the covered outlet on the base. The illumination is adjustable by a separate switch. The head rotates vertically for to cover your work area. With the battery installed it is a well balanced for carrying and it has a solid base when set down.

Ive put this light to its best test by keeping it in my tool list everyday. I work in construction and recently mostly working night shift. Lights up a lot of work area and can run all day with a fully charged 12.0 battery. I would definitely recommend this light for others

Nice, sturdy LED Flood/project light. Simple to operate. Runs on a standard AC extension cord (cord NOT included) or a Milwaukee Lithium-ion battery (Battery & Charger ALSO NOT included). The light has a small opening at the base to plug in a std 3 prong AC cord. When not plugged in, the AC connection plug is protected by a small spring-loaded door that prevents dirt or moisture from getting into the plug cavity (see photo). FEATURES I LIKED The light is heavy duty and weighs about 4 lbs. It has a simple on/off power button and a 3-setting brightness button (1200, 2000, 4000 Lumens). Runs on AC power or Lithium ion 18v battery (type M18). Several AmpHr ratings available (3.0, 5.0, 6.0 etc). All are sold separately. A 5.0 AmpHr battery will power the light for 12hrs on Low setting, 6 hrs on medium setting, and 3 Hrs on high setting. LED Light-head rotates through an arc of 120 degrees. Low battery indicator (flashes when battery is low) Unit also has four mounting slots (spaced about 7 ¾ inches apart) so that you can hang it easily from a couple of nail-heads. NOTE: This is a high-end, high-quality unit that is built for folks in the trades or construction. As a result, it has a high-end cost. If you need something for infrequent use and do not need a light as heavy duty as this one, there are other LED project-lights out there that might fit your needs better. THINGS I DID NOT LIKE. The way this product was presented (i.e. labeled as “TOOL ONLY”), it was not obvious that you needed to purchase the BATTERY & CHARGER separately, as well as provide your own extension cord. I would have liked to see CLEAR & OBVIOUS labeling like: “Battery & Charger sold separately” and “Battery & Cord NOT included”. As a result, purchasing these additional items more than doubles the cost of the total unit. This made the unit not as desirable from a “value standpoint”

This is a very bright light that covers a larger area but is easy to move around. I have most of the lights Milwaukee makes (both M18 and M12) and they all perform well. I recently bought the M18 searchlight which is bright but man this thing lights up an even bigger area like daylight even more so (it is almost twice the lumen output). I also have the big rocket tripod light and this thing is right there with it on light output. My back yard is about 75 ft wide by a little over 100 ft deep and I did a little test with this and the whole area lit up like daylight with this just sitting on the sidewalk. If it was elevated it would be even better. It casts a very wide very bright area of light. And with 3 modes you can adjust for brighter versus longer battery life. I pretty much always go brighter since I have a lot of batteries anyway. Our power was out one evening for almost 8 hours and I used one of the M18 lights inside and it held strong the whole time on one fully charged battery. My neighbor thought I had a generator with power going. I did have a generator but it not in use. It was only an M18 light doing the job. This one would be right there easily doing the same. If you have an area you want to have enough light to work by for a long time then this and the other M18 lights just cannot be beat. This one is another winner in my book. This thing is like a little portable sun. It’s a sweet light. The fact it is dual power source is just icing.

VERSATILE; PORTABLE; EASILY AIMED; LOW BATTERY INDICATOR NOT USEFUL — The Milwaukee M18 GEN-2 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless 3000 Lumens ROVER LED AC/DC Flood Light (Tool-Only) is the most versatile of the Milwaukee flood lights that I have. Rover is a great name for it since it is lightweight and readily portable. The light can rotate 120 degrees which makes is easy to direct to the work area. It may use either a battery or a power cord. It has four keyhole notches on the back to allow the light to be securely mounted on a wall. That use is a situation where a power cord may be applicable. It has three light levels. The weakest area for Milwaukee products are the manuals. They are often incomplete. The box for this tool has more information than the manual. For example, the three light levels are 4000, 2000, and 1200 lumens but that is not noted in the manual. Even the low light level is sufficient for many tasks. And a 5.0 battery in that mode will last for 12 hours. The handle has a notch to make it easy to hang the light on a hook. The low battery indicator is not useful. It blinks twice about a minute before it shuts off. For it to be useful, it should provide a longer warning time by beginning the double blinking earlier and at multiple times before turning off. It will be an excellent light source for painting since if is so portable and allows the light to be easily directed. It has a 5-year warranty. It is made in China.

I like that you can use both battery or house current. The head has a nice swing for adjustable light anywhere. You can use different size batteries. There is key holes so you can mount the light. Only thing that they can change on this is if you plug it to household current it should charge the battery. Also have a USB charging port for phones or other Milwaukee lights.

Milwaukee M18 GEN-2 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless 3000 Lumens ROVER LED AC/DC Flood Light (Tool-Only) This is LED light is heavy duty, both in weight and construction. The Rover 18-Volt Cordless from Milwaukee is built to last for many years of abuse at the work site or at home and has an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. This is a “tool only” model, so I used my own 18 volt Lithium-ion Milwaukee battery that you see in my photos. (Battery is Not Included) What’s really handy is it has an A.C. port so it can also be plugged into with a heavy duty extension cord and run on A.C. power when you don’t need to be cordless or the battery is low. (It doesn't have battery charging capabilities though) There are 3 brightness settings, 4000 lumens for 3 hours, 2000 lumens for 6 hours, 1200 lumens for 12 hours using your M18 REDLITHIUM XC5.0 Battery Pack. The LED head rotates 120 degrees so you can put it on the floor and shine towards the ceiling, walls, wherever you need bright light. The large handle allows you to hang it from a hook or you can use the integrated key holes in the base bottom and hang it from the ceiling or wall using screws for a more permanent mounting. It gives off a tremendous amount of light on all 3 settings. So this unit is perfect for painting or any project requiring a lot of light. Just wait until the power goes off with the next storm, now that I have this light I'm ready! Comes with a Milwaukee 5-year tool warranty and a limited lifetime LED warranty so you will never have replace the LED’s. Another great Milwaukee tool!

Milwaukee M18 GEN-2 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless 4,000 Lumens ROVER LED AC/DC Flood Light (Tool-O...
Milwaukee M18 GEN-2 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless 4,000 Lumens ROVER LED AC/DC Flood Light (Tool-Only) is a bright light source, versatile and sturdy. It is designed to use at the work site and is built to take a knock on the job and is impact, water and dust resistant. With the advent of cordless lighting things have gotten easier in this regard. No more hot halogen lamps, bringing along with extension cords and at times, limited electrical outlets to use them. Now just drop the Milwaukee light down and go to work. The highest light setting is brighter than a halogen. It uses all standard M18 batteries found in Milwaukee's other tools. I have another of Milwaukee's cordless lights, this one comes with both battery and A/C capability, if you want to plug it in, my older one didn't. A great option, glad they've come around to it. For those that are thinking past me, plugin capability doesn't charge the battery; although, would have been great if it did. The electrical outlet option is for added flexibility at the job site. The light is not heavy and weighs about six pounds. Its dimensions are about 10-inches high, 7-inches wide and 12-inches deep. This is a stable configuration, not easily tipped. It also has four hanging holes on the bottom to mount on a rafter or any place else. My older one came with a hanging cable to wrap on a nail or pipe. They should provide something for this hanging option, a hole to thread a cable or rope through it. It's a small point, thought I'd mention it. It's a simple light, controls are simple, too, an on/off switch and a light intensity selection toggle. The toggle has three settings. The brightest light, 4,000 lumens / 3 hours, is for a large space and the other two, 2,000 / 6 hours, and 1,200 lumens / 12 hours, are for close up working based on a 5Ah battery. The lower two settings are plenty of light if you are near the work. This is a useful, portable self-contained, work light at six pounds plus battery, plenty of light and a rugged enclosure that won't easily stop if it takes a bang or is in a dirty environment.

This is the most useful light that I have. The light spread is perfect for a whole room of painting, flooring or in industrial settings. It lights the whole area very well. These will replace more of those corded work lights at the jobsites. You know how aggravating drop cords and tripping breakers are at some sites. I’ve depended on TRUEVIEW lighting for years now. I can quickly and more easily determine colors, especially that of wires. It’s just a cleaner, more dependable light. I can see what I’m looking for. At home I can see the wax that I’ve missed on my car or motorcycle. You can easily see any paint defect, especially those you couldn’t see before. It’s great for doing maintenance or servicing cars, trucks or motorcycles. It’s great for checking drive belts, hoses, tires or anything that you need to see in more detail. There are four keyholes on the base for mounting, if needed, and it’s great for inside an enclosed trailer. You can leave it mounted or easily remove it for use elsewhere. I can set this thing up in the yard and cut grass by it. It has a 120 degree adjustable head. The settings are 4000, 2000 or 1200 lumens. It is powered by the dependable M18 batteries, with plenty of room on the sides for easy removal, or you can plug it into a drop cord, 120v. The plug is protected by a hinged door. It indicates that the battery is low by flashing the light. It has a perfectly sized carry handle, even for gloved hands. I haven’t seen on better than this one.

Milwaukee M18 Dual Power Flood Light. Tool only, the battery / charger needs to be purchased separately. This light takes a M18 battery vs the M12 battery that is used on many of Milwaukee's tools. M18 & M12 batteries are not interchangeable. The light can be powered by either a M18 battery or 120VAC. You need an extension cord to power the light with 120V and I would suggest using a heavy duty cord. The light can be positioned straight up to 120 degrees toward the front. Unit has a "low battery" indicator. Unit gives you 3 levels of brightness by pushing the mode button. Maximum of 4000 lumens. Dust and water resistant. You can download the operation and parts manuals off the Milwaukee or Home Depot websites.
