Great light dropped on floor and lens cracked but light still works

Please forward this to Milwaukee tool CEO. Milwaukee tool donated MANY ITEMS to Houghton County Michigan flood disaster. Many basements were FILLED with mud slide rock and peanut butter mud. They are filling buckets by hand shovel and bucket brigading them out to front end loaders and skid steer. These lights were SO helpful in the basements and likely saved us from injury several times. The basements were old from the Copper Country mining boom of the late 1800s and early 1900s. Donates battery powered recip saw was a life saver as well. The U.P. of MI loves you Milwaukee tool! I will only buy Milwaukee tools for the rest of my life.

Great light source. This light is very bright This light has 3 zones, left, middle, and right. No matter what configuration you choose the middle zone will remain on, So you can have the left and middle lights on, the middle and the right lights on, or the left, middle, and right lights on at the same time. One Key The one key works like a charm with this one, I was two levels up(The light was in the basement and I was on the first floor) and I was still able to control the lights with my one key app. The location tracking was spot on. The one key app allows you to control the brightness as well as which lights you want on. There is also a battery gauge so you can view from your phone. Hybrid This is a hybrid model, so you can either plug into an outlet or allow it run off of your batteries. If you plug it in with a battery in, this WILL NOT CHARGE YOUR BATTERY. This light does allow you to plug another device, upto 11a into it and it will only work when the unit is plugged into an outlet.

Overall, a great light. Very bright, and it comes with direction and intensity settings to conserve power and life. This unit has the under-body hook, which allows for hanging from a ceiling from a pipe or similar feature. The unit can run off of an M18 Battery or AC power via extension cord. The unit can be used as a through-power source, so when running the light off of AC power you can plug a tool into the light, so it effectively runs in series. The one-key functionality is nice. If you will be in a certain environment for an extended time, to where you will set up long-term construction solutions, the light can be left overhead with a power cord running to it, and you can use the one-key functionality to turn the light on or off, as well as adjust settings of the light. The one-key feature DOES NOT WORK ON BATTERY POWER!!!! One-key can adjust light intensity when using a battery, but can not power on or off the light. Kind of a bummer, but if it is running off of battery and inaccessible your plan probably needs revision. For some reason this light also has a huge battery drain. 5.0 batteries left in the unit overnight, even with the light left off, would drain the battery. Maybe there is an open circuit, or I got a lemon, but even 5.0 batteries would wind up dead in the AM if left in the unit.

First off, this light is very well made. Sturdy, heavy, bright, and packed with features. You can set it on the floor in place of a Wobblelight, and because it is weighted you can't knock it over. It is small enough that it will roll under most scaffolding. If it does get hit or kicked the lights are LED so they don't shatter leaving glass on your site. These can be hung from the ceiling. The hook that is attached is rather large and has hooked on to everything I have tried. If you have a few of these you can daisy chain the power from one to the other just like any other light setup on a site. You can choose on or off, one side, the other, or both, and three levels of brightness. One-Key / Bluetooth This is by far the best feature of this light. With the One-Key app you have full control of this light. Set timers, program schedules, and more. If the power has to go down at your site typically work stops because no one can see anything. With this feature you just pull out your phone or tablet and turn on the lights in your area, they are running on batteries, so the work continues. There is just simply to many great things this light could be used for, I could go one for days. I havent stopped using it since I got it. Took me forever to write this review because I couldn't stop using it. The only thing I think they could improve on is the option to have the lights come on if the power is lost.

This site light gives a bright light, 4400 lumens, which hurts my eyes to look at even in a well-lit room. It lights up a 13-foot by 13-foot room after dark, as in the photo below. The site light is 9” wide by 11” deep x 14” high, including 3½” for the folding handle, and it weighs 12½ pounds. It has several adjustments. You can have the illumination 360 degrees around the site light while it sits on the floor or on a table — they call this Area Lighting, or you can have lighting just 180 degrees to the rear of the controls — they call this Task Lighting, or just the 180 degrees on the side of the controls (the front side in my thinking). You can suspend the site light from a ceiling with a hook that unfolds from the bottom, so the the up-aiming LEDs are aimed down — it comes with a sturdy plasticized 3½-foot cable if needed for hanging from a joist or rafter, and they call this Overhead Lighting. You can dim all the LEDs to two lower levels of brightness to extend the battery life — at full-force 4400 lumens they say the battery lasts two hours, at 2100 lumens it lasts four hours, and at 1000 lumens it lasts eight hours. You can also plug the site light into a grounded 110 volt wall outlet with an extension cord, which is not provided. You can plug another site light into this one with another extension cord. You can synch the site light wirelessly with a smart phone and control it from up to 50 feet away with the smart phone, program an automatic schedule, track its usage, and even find it with your smart phone — they call this One Key. The lens over the LEDs is described as polycarbonate and seems quite sturdy, as does the orange and dark gray base and handle. The box describes the site light as “impact, dust and water resistant”. The light flashes when the battery pack is low. The Milwaukee lithium ion battery which I got, M18, 18 volt with 5.0 amp hours, is sold separately with its charger. This battery can power many other Milwaukee tools, including drill drivers, recip saws, circular saws, and flood lights. This is a functional, sturdy, bright site light that has lots of flexibility in its use.

It is heavy in both actual weight and amount of cash it will remove from your wallet. Since you can plug it in and run it, or just use batteries it would have been really nice for this unit to charge the battery too. The One-Key app really provides a lot of nice functions to the light. Besides controlling the light functions, if the lamp is plugged in to 110v power, you also have access to many timing funtions. I like that the lamp will automatically switch from 110v power to battery power if you lose the 110v power. It does not drain the battery while plugged in which is nice. This is a fantastic light.

My husband can sit in his recliner in the familyroom and turn on, adjust, and turn off this new M18 Radius LED Compact Site Light with One Key(TM) in the foyer! Milwaukee has an One Key application for a cell phone that allows you to control your lantern with a smart phone from up to 50 feet away. It will even tell you how much battery charge remains. With 4,400 lumens, this lantern puts out a lot of light!! Enough to light a large work area. But it is adjustable and can be brought down to 1,000 lumens for closer work. Either way, do not look directly at the light! It will hurt your eyes. The unit is heavy even without the battery so it won't tip over easily. It has a tough durable exterior, a sturdy handle and a center leveling chain/hook for hanging. The battery and charger are not included which makes this unit a fairly big investment. In our area there is a lot of camping out in the hills. This site light would be a welcome addition to any camping group.

This light is really bright and has a few different settings to change the brightness. It has three brightness settings and you can also turn the light off on one side or the other. It is quite heavy even without a battery weighing in at 10.76 lbs. That is manageable but definitely not lightweight. It has a hook so you can hang it up on a pipe or something. You can connect it to an extension cord and use AC power to power it too. You can also plug another extension cord in the other side to power other things. This lamp seems really well built and the people that delivered it to me tested it out by denting the box. It is super expensive though so you would really have to use it a lot to get your money’s worth. It also doesn’t come with a battery. It can be controlled by an app on your phone if you want to but according to the box it has to be in AC mode to use the auto lighting controls. The box says that the lamp is impact resistant and water and dust resistant, so it could be used in rugged conditions. It feels and looks pretty rugged. It also comes with a 5 year tool warranty and an LED limited lifetime warranty.
