For me, it was a bit on the larger side. I think youd be ok. I think these jackets are sized a little large. I'd say keep it tighter fitting so you can really feel the heating. If it's too loose you dont really notice the heating.

I really like my new heated Milwaukee jacket, overall. It’s in the olive green, quilted. Mine was without the battery. But for less than a hundred dollars I think it’s very reasonably priced. I had some batteries for my M12 drill, and had ordered some 3 Ah batteries before the jacket arrived. It gets warm enough for me. In fact I even wear it in the house to take the chill out. The only negatives I can think of: the battery pocket, as others have stated is in an awkward position over the left flank towards the kidney and when you’re seated in your car or laying down on the couch, it digs in. If I were to choose a place I would put it on the chest in front of the armpit. You can put the battery in the left front pocket, but I think it will probably disconnect easier in that location since the cable is exposed. I don’t understand why there’s Velcro in the battery pocket, because it really only serves to put the battery further towards the back when the pocket is made larger. The other thing I found is when any food oils get on the jacket, it stains immediately and it’s very noticeable. The stains only came off after machine washing twice using different stain removers. As far as size is concerned, I usually wear large jackets, and this is a large jacket as ordered and in expected fit. The sleeves are perhaps 1 inch too long for my arms. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, but I won’t be eating sloppy foods in the future!

I have owned a Milwaukee heated jacket in the past and love it but it was camouflage. Great for hunting, not so much for day to day activities. This jacket looks excellent and I get compliments almost every time I wear it. Looks good. Fits good. And is super warm on back and chest. Finding myself having to turn the heat down most of the time, but that will just save more on battery. I have an extra battery and swap them around on the charger every time I wear it. Speaking of that. Be sure to order a battery if you dont already have one. I received a free battery from Home Depot purchase but forgot to click on it in the cart. Customer service told me to return the jacket only to the store when it arrived and to place a new order and include the battery. Seemed kind of like a waste of time and they didnt credit us back correctly on the return. Had to go back twice to clear that up. But jacket is worth buying for sure!

Multiple heat settings to warm the chest shoulders this jacket runs small. I am a size large and this jacket was fit but would rather it be a size larger . I would recommend that one order a size larger. The jacket is stylish and has a quilted pattern to it. It has multiple settings of low, medium, and high. Has options for area to warm. The battery is also serves as a usb charger and goes in the side more to the back of the jacket zipped. Great layering jacket as it is not too bulky. No heat was in the arms. Has a nice battery indicator lights feature.

Milwaukee makes great tools and this jacket is another nice product from them. The jacket is really good looking and has 2 handwarmer pockets and a zippered inside chest pocket. It has a drawstring waste so that you can tighten the lower hem and keep the warmth inside. I am 6 feet tall and about 190 pounds and the large size fits me perfectly. In my experience Milwaukee has some of the best rechargeable batteries and this one has a clever USB type charger.

(What's this)
Although it’s nowhere close to being cold in South Texas, I’ve tested this Milwaukee Men’s M12 AXIS Black Heated Jacket for about two weeks. With the kit you receive the jacket, the battery and holder, a micro to USB cable, and a wall power adapter. I previously owned one of Milwaukee’s heated jackets. This one is super comfortable and by far the most stylish I’ve seen thus far. The battery goes in a pocket located on the back lower left side of the jacket. When you first put on the jacket you notice the battery but it’s fairly small and light so you quickly forget about it. There are two separate heat zones that have three settings. The two zones work independently so one zone can be on high while another is on low or whatever settings you like. This jacket heats up within a few minutes but what’s most impressive is how well the it holds in the heat. You don’t really feel any of the heat when touching the jacket from the outside. It all stays inside where you need it. Something new to this refresh is how the battery can be charged. Instead of the large M12 charger, this kit comes with a USB cable. You can connect the cable directly to USB power or use the adapter to utilize an outlet. It takes a while to charge using the cable but it’s nice to have that option. If you happen to have a M12 charger you can use that for a faster charge. One other perk with this kit is the ability to charge devices. You can use the same cable that comes with the kit but not for Apple devices of course so I had to use my iPhone charger. With a fully charged M12 2.0 battery, charging my iPhone 7 Plus from 20% to 100% drained the battery a little less than halfway. This of course will severely cut into your heating time but having the ability to charge a dead phone when there is no other power available can be a life saver. I’m looking forward to some cold weather. It’s nice being able to stay warm without wearing a ton of clothing. They’re not cheap but they are definitely worth the price.

(What's this)
This is my third Milwaukee heated jacket. I also have the hard shell jacket and the heated hoodie. The heated aspect of them is awesome. I don't work outdoors on a daily basis but I do spend hours at a time regularly when I go camping or weekly hikes and my Milwaukee heated gear is an essential part of fall and winter for me. This is a nice jacket that can also be used as a middle layer and the new design of the battery holder that can be charged with a USB cable makes these jackets more convenient. It can charge your cell phone too. This jacket also feels like it heats up faster than my other jackets. It has two independantly controlled heating elements. One for the chest and back and one for the shoulders. Each can be set to on, off, or 3 different layers of heat from red (hottest) to blue (coolest.) The heat is like an extra layer you can turn on when you need it. It's important to bundle up to keep the generated heat from the heating elements (and your body) inside the jacket. The quilted Axis jacket like the hard shell jacket has draw strings around the waist and a tall collar that zips all the way up to your chin to help keep the heat in. The way I tend to use the jacket most of the time is to dress so I'm warm enough when active without the heat on and then use the heat when I'm not being active. It's like an invisible extra layer that comes on with the press of the button. That's the best way to get the longest use out of the jacket for me. We've only had a couple of days that were cold enough to use this jacket but from using my other Milwuakee heated jackets I know what a difference they can make. Not only do the parts under the heating elements stay warmer but so do other parts of my body. I guess with my core not losing as much heat it's easier to keep my extremities warm. I remember going on a hike in temperature my hands usually get cold in with the gloves I was wearing but with a heated jacket and the same gloves on the same type of day they didn't. I've washed my other jackets multiple times and they still heat up fine. The quilted Axis jacket is a lighter weight fall jacket with the benefit of having heat that can give you some extra warmth when you need it. It's thin and flexible enough to use as a layer under a heavier coat. It's very comfortable and looks nice. I sometimes have a problem with the battery pack being in the way when I'm sitting down, especially when driving. This isn't a problem with my other Milwaukee jackets. The battery holder got a little bigger this incarnation and to be fair, I did too :-/ but adjusting the position of the battery holder helps as does getting back into shape. :) The big difference for me is the battery holder. The new battery holder can be charged with a USB charger so you don't need to have an M12 charger with you. You can carry the included USB cable and charger in your jacket. You can still charge the battery with an M12 charger if you have one and it will charge faster. Charging the included battery from 2 bars to full took me about 1 hour and 20 minutes. The charger technology doesn't seem to be as advanced as the M12 charger which is understandable given the size. I have a very old M12 battery that I tried to charge in the battery holder using the USB cable. I let the battery die down completely. When I put it in the battery holder to charge the red and green lights were blinking indicating the battery weas dead. When I put the battery in the M12 charger it charged right up fine. Put it in the battery holder and it was able to heat the jacket. Didn't let the battery run down all the way and was able to recharge it with the battery holder. When I'm home (or anyplace I have a charger) I'll use the charger because it's faster and easier. If I'm someplace without an M12 charger, like in my car, and I need to charge up I'll use the USB charger. Milwaukee is doing a great job with it's heated gear line, constantly improving the technology and taking user feedback into account. Materials are of high quality, even the USB cable isn't cheap, and the designs appear simple yet very attractive. When it's cold out it's hard to get me to wear any other jackets other than my Milwaukee heated gear!

(What's this)
I’m really enjoying this new Milwaukee M12 AXIS heated jacket kit. I’ve been impressed with the jacket and I outline below some reasons I believe you will like it as well. Positive Aspects: • Surprisingly lightweight. Because it’s so light it’s easy to layer or leave it as the outer layer. • Very easy to compress and pack up for a trip or on the job. It really doesn’t take up much room which is a great perk. • All the exterior pockets have zippers to keep valuables from falling out. • This is really comfortable and for many people that will be high on their list of requirements. Because it’s so light it doesn’t have the same restrictive feeling that many other coats out there have. • The kit also comes with a small, portable charger, 2.0amp battery, and an updated battery holder. • The battery holder that comes with this jacket kit has a few nice benefits. It comes with a battery gauge so you clearly know how much battery life you have left. It also has a USB out which you can use to charge your cell phone, etc. I really like that feature. • You can charge the battery using the included battery charger (while it’s inside the battery holder) or simply use your normal M12 charger that comes with many of their tools. • I ran the jacket on low for 3 hours and it did not use more than ½ the battery, which is very good. The heat this produces on the ‘high’ setting is some serious heat that will warm anyone out there. In fact, for me I’ve always found the low setting to be perfect for Milwaukee jackets and this one is no different. • The jacket produced heat in about 10 seconds and very strong heat at about 20 second. I was honestly surprised how quickly I felt the heat. Definitely an upgrade. • The heat felt balanced on the front, back, and shoulders. • The jack feels and is durable. Based on my testing this will handle some rough conditions and does well resisting tears. • The battery is carefully placed on the left side of your lower back. This allows you to work, sit down, driver your truck, etc. with minimal discomfort from the battery and battery holder. • It’s worth noting that this jacket performs very well with or without using the heat. • It’s also a great looking jacket and you will look good wearing this just about anywhere. • It holds up to water and wind. It’s also machine washable. Things to note: • No inside pocket. I’m a huge fan of this jacket. I’ve had others in the past and Milwaukee makes some of the best jackets, coats, vests, etc. out there. I’ve never had one fail me and they are always my ‘go to’ gear. I fully recommend.

Holy cow is this thing nice! From another source I was told that this jacket is meant to be worn under something, not as a top jacket in cold weather. In my case I wear it under a pair of coveralls and it eliminates a much heavier bulkier overcoat. Three heat settings, and a separate heat zone for shoulders, also with three heat settings. My only complaint is that I didn't buy it a year or two ago.
