These Cobalt Drill Bits work just fine
Drilling into Metal the smaller bits 1/8 inch and under Can be run around 1000-1300 rpm (i always keep on the slower side, some say the smaller bits can go faster but just more chance of heat build up and breakage i think) bits above 1/8 inch you should run about 500-600 rpm and watch your shavings if discolored looking you need to slow down, be sure to use a Cutting oil (I use Tap Magic) when drilling into metal with cobalt bits it helps keep the heat down and helps the drill bit cut better.

Better than the competition
I had to returned my brand new Dewalt with a power-stack batteries to go back to my original tools I was going to buy for work. I only need the 1/4in impact but this kit deal and the free battery makes it even better. My Dewalt was just not as great of a tool and once I got my Milwaukee, projects got done even faster. The impact was light enough to hold the tool over head for a long period of time. Great deal and great tools.

Faulty Batteries/ charger
I bought and returned this product multiple times due to the batteries not taking a charge. The light would flash green and red which according to the instructions means the battery is faulty. I talked to the milwakee rep at the store as well as the hardware folks and no one was able to help or give advice other than you can exchange it for another. I decided to pass 4/4 batteries were fault brand new out of the box I wasn't about to try again. They were also unwilling to let me open a box and the store and try it to show them the issue.

I realize that my hundred piece set is nothing like the set that you have pictured above I have no 1/4 - 5/16- 3/8 the whole set looks different than what I ordered.

This is absolutely the best drill set for the money...
This is absolutely the best drill set for the money I’ve been able to find anywhere! You can tell by the weight of the bits that they have a substantial amount of cobalt. So why only 5-stars??? It’s the incredibly bad case. The plastic grips the bits so tightly that pliers are needed to remove them. This is clearly a marketing ploy; the shiny red plastic looks great in a display and it must be cheaper to supply. But shame on Milwaukee; the merits of a shiny display are IMMEDIATELY lost when the bits need to be used. Fortunately, there is a remedy; just invert the bits in the case. Most of the holes require enlargement as most of the bits have reduced shanks but you have the bits right there!
Buy these bits, give Milwaukee’s marketing staff a wave of your index finger, and don’t look back!

Snapped to bits
Just picked up a brand new set, a 3/8ths drill bit in a drill, pre drilled hole snapped the bit before one full revelation drilling aluminum. I want slow and the hole was 95+ percent predrilled.
Look elsewhere for drill bits

Not good. Makita, other brands better
Broke on the 20th screw. I have using Makita, Bosch and Dewalt with much more sucess.

Impact couldnt remove wheel lug nuts.
I attempted to use the impact to remove the lug nuts on my vehicle. When i put the impact to the lug nuts, it removed the first, however when i went for the second something broke. Not sure what it is but now whatever attachment i insert wont lock into place. I can pull it out with no problem.

Batteries not as advertised.
While I love Milwaukee tols and will give them the highest recommendation, my kit came with 2 x CP1.5 batteries not the CP2.0 batteries this add and packaging claim.
