Titanium Drill bits are engineered for extreme durability and long life
Available in 29 fractional sizes
Our Shockwave Lineup of products are designed for use with impact drivers and drill drivers. Our Tin bits have 5X Life vs. Black Oxide Bits on the market today.
Red Helix Drill bits are made up of three components for the best user experience. Quad Edge Tip , Variable Helix, Thicker Tapered Web
The QUAD EDGE tip delivers a precision start and four cutting edges to create smaller chips for faster removal and less heat leading to longer bit life.
Designed with a Variable Helix that includes an aggressive 35° helical angle which ends at 15°, the Titanium bits with RED HELIX provide Rapid Chip Removal limiting heat buildup.
The bits also feature an internal ENHANCED TAPERED WEB that greatly increases the strength of the bits, reducing premature breakage.
Ideal for various applications including but not limited to
Drilling Through a Range of Thick Metals
Drilling Through Clean Wood
Designed for use with impact drivers and drill drivers
Optimized for Cordless Drills and Impact Drivers
You need a carbide-tipped masonry bit.
The 29 piece set includes up to 1/2” bits. The larger bits are much more expensive.
Well Bob, I can’t help you there. I have used the bits in my 1/4” impact makita and they seem to work well
Interesting question! I suggest contacting Milwaukee customer service, or Home Depot customer service for their return/warranty policy. I'm sure either would replace or refund for a factory defect (e.g., a bit broke within minutes of reasonable use), but these ARE drill bits and are expected to wear over time, even with reasonable use.
These are much better.
