The tight spaces you can reach with this adapter is very tight. You need about an inch worth of spaces.

Does it come with warranty?

Interesting question; the package said "up to 30x life" but I don't remember an explicit warranty. I believe that Milwaukee has a 1 year defect warranty on their tools, and I know they are pretty responsive if you contact them.

You have to pull hard; the magnet holds it in tight.

it is a standard hex fitting

Can I use this for smaller spade bits? I’m getting this basically to hide wires and drill small holes through studs when hanging TVs.

I need to cut 1" to 1-1/4" holes in studs. are there hole saws available for this drill adapter?

I’m sure it would work for a couple but over time it’s going to destroy it. I have had self feeding spade bit twist where it goes into the chuck of a drill using it normally so adding the 90 degree adapter is just putting more parts inline and I have yet to see any of these type of adaptor a hold up over time. So far the Milwaukee seems to be the best built but I wouldn’t use it for hole in that size unless I had no other choice and would only do it once or twice.

Is this magnetic?

I used an m18 impact with no issues so I think you should be fine

Essential!!
Customer review from milwaukeetool.com logo
The Milwaukee Shockwave Right angle adaptor has become an essential for my tool bag. I got this gem in hopes it would help me get in tighter spaces and it certainly delivered. I travel and tear down and install automated lines and there are always so many screws and small bolts that I just can not reach with my impact, loosely translated, alot of busted knuckles...This right angle adaptor is slim and sleek and fits in tight spaces that I could never have gotten to without it. It has sped up the time it takes me to get the job done!! No more busted knuckles for me. I think everyone on my crew has borrowed and then bought this handy little tool. Thank you Milwaukee!! Helps a lot
Customer review from milwaukeetool.com logo
The Milwaukee Impact right adapter is not a tool I use everyday but when it’s needed it’s indispensable. With it’s slim profile it makes the impossible angles possible. The magnetic tip holds the bits securely and rubberize body of the adapter fits comfortably in my hand. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Husband loves it!
Customer review from milwaukeetool.com logo
My husband is a commercial electrician. He works in some tight spots sometimes. He is thrilled with this. It is made well and works as described. Ironically, its even thr brand of his preferred tools he uses daily. I was sent this to test and we can't be happier with it. It really is a life saver in tight spaces. Nice tool
Customer review from milwaukeetool.com logo
My husband has used this tool a few times now to get into tight spots. He has large hands therefore making it difficult to get into tight spaces. He has recently used this while trying to fix the 4 wheeler. This tool was able to get into the spots his hand wouldn't fit. He said it's very easy to use and has a nice grip to it. I can see where this will come in quite handy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Invaluable tool for tight spaces
Customer review from milwaukeetool.com logo
In professional or DIY situations, I'm a firm believer that everyone should own a right angle adapter. There's just certain tight fits that nothing else will do. Impressions: Pros: 1. The head of the tool is magnetized so it's very easy to change out bits. 2. This is a well made tool. It's heavy and made of quality materials. 3. Engagement is immediate and solid. Cons: 1. Only one bit is included. It's nice to have a Phillips head included, but I found it very curious a flat head wasn't also included. Obviously, it takes standard bits, but it just seemed strange. 2. It's very clear through my research on this tool, that it's not up to the task of use with industrial strength impact drivers. While I'd rarely have cause to use it with an industrial strength driver, I'd like to have that option. At the same time, this will and has already, held up to all my drills and my other less powerful drivers, so it's a minor issue. Overall: I'd recommend this to anyone outside of those who would regularly use this with a high powered industrial impact driver. Outside of that, this tool is up to the task. Recommended 4 stars Cheers! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Works better than I thought
We all have had the need to get into tight spots to secure or remove something. I just wish I had bought this sooner. As long as you have pressure on the head it honestly feels like you are screwing it in with a normal screw gun. You might need a extra hand to hold in place. I will be buying another just to have in case I break or loose this one. It's a must for anyone who owns a drill.

(What's this)
This is a review of Milwaukee's Shockwave Impact Right Angle Adapter #48-32-2390. A P2 bit comes included [the bit holder is magnetized]. This adapter is designed to be driven with a hex-drive drill; more specifically, it's 'optimized' to take the abuse an impact driver can deliver. How does it do that? Well, I'll assume it's like their "Shockwave" bits where those shafts are made from a material which absorbs the impact shock. Same here ... the 'drive shaft' must be engineered much the same way. The bottom line is ... don't expect much, if any, of the impact to transmit thru 1:1 right-angle 'gear box'. In use, you'll need at least three inches of clearance above the fastener to use this adapter ... 2+ inches is how deep the adapter is with the shortest bit imaginable installed; and then you'll need at least another inch [three is better] for your hand to exert some downward force. As for "reach in", that'll be 8"-10" depending on the drill/driver's design. In practical use, there will be only a few times when this adapter will be your only choice to get to that hard-to-reach screw, bolt, or nut. It's a good addition to the toolbag.

I have an occasional need for a Right Angled Drill and this attachment is a great addition to my tool set. The attachment fits easily into my hex drill and provides smooth and powerful drilling speed. The metal shaft of the attachment is well made of quality parts and feels very sturdy with a comfortable rubber grip.. Though I know this will never take the place of a right angled drill it is great for a homeowner DIYer or for small specific jobs

(What's this)
I have become a big user of Milwaukee tools and this doesn't disappoint. It fits right into another brand cordless drill and holds my driver bits without any adapters, etc. It is the perfect size to really hold on to and there is no lag or lug when I operate the drill. It does fit into much smaller places than the drill motor will and it doesn't add much weight. Note that this does not have a chuck and does not use regular drill bits, but Milwaukee makes Shockwave bits that fit.
