Answer This Question

Hello, any of the M12 batteries are compatible with the Women's 2X-Large M12 12V Lithium-Ion Cordless AXIS Black Heated Vest Kit.

The provided answer by Milwaukee is incorrect. I have the jacket that takes battery CP3.0 and the vest that takes CP 2.0. I cannot use CP3.0 in the vest because the cord has two male connectors and the small male connector prevents connecting to CP3.0.

Are these vests true to size? Do they run small or big? I am looking to purchase for my daughter in law. She is normally a medium and she about 5'7" tall. Should I buy a larger to go over a hoodie?

They run large. I'm a ladies large and I bought a medium. Fits close but not tight and keeps cold air from blowing in

They run large. My wife ordered a small vest and we are returning it for extra small. I’m 180# male 6’ tall and was able to fully zip up the women’s small with a T shirt and thermal. I’ll admit it was too tight to comfortably wear for me wear all day

I find they are true to size - not sizing for dresses or indoor suit jackets but for winter wear. The sizing for breasts and hips are ample and true to the measurements with room for a couple layers.

I think they run small … unless you like them tight fitting. I’m medium/ large and the large is snug and I’m debating on sizing up to xl to fit sweat shirt underneath

from the pictures the men's style is cut just at the hips and the women's style is cut a little lower.

Great heated vest, though a little heavy with the battery
I have the Large version of this vest so I could put additional layers under it when needed. I feel like more heat would be contained when the vest is under another layer, but I like having the heat control more accessible, and I still feel plenty warm even when on level 2 of 3. I have been using the vest off and on for about 4 hours so far on level 2, and the battery appears to still going strong. The vest came with a M12 2AH battery, adapter for the battery, and a 3 amp charger. Overall I like the vest, but it is heavier because of the heating components, and most of all because of the battery. The battery goes inside a zippered pocket on the left side, and I wish it was a little more contained. The battery tends to sit behind the left hand pocket and can sometimes feel like it's in the way. I would recommend sizing up if you plan to sit for longer periods, since the vest doesn't have any stretch and could be uncomfortable around your hips.

                It’s a nice warming vest!
It hasn’t really gotten that cold here, but we tried this vest out. It came well packaged and included the battery and charger. From what my wife could tell just using it in the house, the heat was fairly immediate. We were shipped and XL which is a little big for her but have been informed a large will be sent to replace this one, we just don’t know when, and we are about to head out of town for 3 weeks, so we wanted to post this review before we left. The vest itself appears to be well made, the zippers are strong, and the cut is well shaped. The compartment for the battery is a little bulky but not uncomfortable when wearing the vest. Overall, the sizing appears to be accurate as once the large size arrives we are sure it will work well for us. I would recommend this for anyone working in colder climates that will be outdoors for extended periods of time. It can even work as a heated liner to a full coat!

                Well made but uncomfortable.
It’s a well made vest and seems like it will last a long time. The issue is that the battery is huge and very uncomfortable. If you’re standing you can kind of ignore it but if your sit down you need to keep adjusting it or else it’s like sitting on a rock. I wore it on a 30 degree night and it kept me warmer but I wouldn’t say it was hot. If you’re working outside and have Makita batteries it is good to toss one in and warm up but otherwise there may be more comfortable options.

                Definitely Works
My wife is always cold. She wears a coat in the middle of July while on vacation in Orlando, Florida. So, when I saw the Women's Large M12 12V Lithium-Ion Cordless AXIS Gray Heated Vest, I snapped it up in a second. The quality that Milwaukee puts into their tools is the same obvious committment to their heated clothing line as well. The vest is durable, comfortable, and stylish as well. Most importantly, it take the chill out on those cold autumn days. I highly recommend this product to any woman that gets a bit chilly.

                Milwaukee Women’s Heated Axis Vest
Over the years I’ve owned a number of heated garments, each designed for the specific use such as skiing, motorcycling and general wear from three different companies. I chose the Milwaukee Women’s Heated Axis Vest from an experienced understanding of heated gear. My initial view is that a fair amount of design has gone into this vest. The cut of the vest is suitable for Women and not merely a Men’s garment cut down. I found the vest accommodates the female body with ample space in two areas often overlooked in other heated clothing I’ve owned. The front section of the vest is contoured to provide sizing for women’s breasts which is the primary measurement for sizing and the bottom edge of the vest are flared from the waist down to provide room for women’s hips. This is a HUGE design improvement you don’t often find. I ordered according to my breast measurement added 2” to determine my size. The vest I received fits perfectly with room for a couple layers of clothing. The heating function of the vest is also a huge improvement – I found it heated quickly and functioned as instructions noted. The rectangular black patch on the upper left front just under the Milwaukee embroidered logo is the on/off temp control. Press for 2 seconds, the M12 lights up red, the three bars indicate battery charge and the front and back immediately begin to heat at high setting. It was easy enough to cycle through the temp levels to find comfort by pressing the power patch one click to step through levels. Pressing the power patch 2 seconds to turn off. That’s it. Simple and instant warmth. When you first receive your Milwaukee Heated Axis garment you’ll need to fully charge the cylinder shaped battery. On the left side of the vest between the underarm and waist is the battery pouch. Simply slip the charged battery into the battery carrier, insert the plug found in the battery pouch, insert into pouch and zip up. The location is the natural contour of a woman’s body right at the lower portion of the side rib cage. I didn’t feel the battery interfered with any of my movement, I didn’t brush it when moving my left arm. Overall this Milwaukee Women’s Heated Axis vest is well made, super-efficient and I expect it to last a long time. And as a part my other Milwaukee batteries, it charges quickly and there’s no charging memory allowing you to top off if needed rather than wait till the battery is nearly depleted to charge. I no longer work outside, ride a motorcycle but still appreciate a little warmth when tidying up the garden during late fall, pruning shrubs and dashing off to the store. If you do work outside, this line of heated clothing is something to check out. In my experience, this one is a winner.

                Not bad Not Great
The Women's Medium M12 12V Lithium-Ion Cordless AXIS Green Heated Vest Kit with (1) 3.0 Ah Battery and Charger wasn't as good as I had hoped. BEWARE they run big my wife is normally a medium but this thing is huge on her I feel that a snugger fit may work better. It burns through batteries quickly I expected to get the three hours on high as advertised it go no where near that, typically it last 1-2 hours on a full charge. It does heat well and is simple to use we like the button on the front, just wish it tapered in around the waist to get it a more feminine look.

                Awesome quality heated vest.
This vest with heat technology is great. I'm greatly surprised of the good quality and well finished. The design and fitting is really good. You wouldn't belive it is a tools brand for work, sincerely it looks better than some designer garments. I ordered XS size and comes a little bit bigger than I expected but it's ok since I used it with undergarments. It's heavier than a regular vest wich is understandable having the electronics and heating pads + battery. The battery is a little bulky, it fits in it's pocket but not without notice it. The battery is 2.4 Amp, not 3 Amp as it's mentioned on the description but it last more than what the instruction manual mentioned. It gets warm in about 30 seconds wich Is greatly apreciated during cold fall-winter hikes. The three levels heat adjustment is a plus to regulate depending on your preference abd weather. I do recomend this product 100%. I will be orfering another one for my wife.

                Nice looking and cozy vest
The product arrived packaged very well. There are two operation manuals, one for the battery and charger and the other for the vest itself. I ordered a large but received an extra large. But I’m glad I did. I wanted it for when I have work to do outside in the cold. If I had received a large, I think it may have been too binding with a couple sweatshirts under it. The battery goes in side zippered pocket. Felt heavy at first, but get used to it. The vest heats up quickly and has come in handy on the cold mornings getting into the car. The car remote start isn’t working currently and the vest has made it much more comfortable. So far, I’ve only used it outside to hang Christmas lights. It was very cold but it wasn’t so bad with the extra heat, and there’s room to put my hands in the vest to warm them up too. I’m sure I will use it often.

                Great, warm vest!
Great vest! Durable, well made. It heats up very quickly and lasts for hours! Fast charge! It has two roomy, zippered pockets on the outside, and two zippered pockets on the inside that could easily hold a wallet, smartphone or keys. The battery is in its own pocket on the left side and sits toward the front. The battery with the holder is about 5" tall. It does not feel too bulky in the vest. Fits true to size and had room for layers underneath. Wore it out on a 20° day and felt comfortable. Medium heat setting could easily last 8 hours. Highly recommend!

                Such a great idea
It's silly, but I'm always cold at the office and sitting at my desk in a bulky coat or a blanket isn't ideal. But this heated vest is a gamechanger. I sized up since I sometimes have trouble zipping structured jackets up all the way, but my regular size L would have been just fine. As other reviewers mention, the battery is a little bulky, but it's fine as long as you're OK giving up pocket real estate. Looking forward to getting lots of use out of this this winter!
