Safer hands
The cut-level 1 gloves from Milwaukee are quite nice- decent quality, good protection, and fit like a glove (pun intended). I slip these on occasionally to ensure my hands are protected from materials when handling them during installs or when doing a purge of scraps or other mixed debris. I have also gotten into the habit of wearing these whenever doing lawn work to protect the hands- particularly during clean-up operations to remove branches. I recommend these as basic PPE must-haves.

I don't know much about cut resistant gloves, but when looking at these gloves I noted that the images shows someone holding a box cutter to open a box(i attached the image). I assumed the picture was showing what the gloves protect you against. WRONG I was using the gloves on a small project around the house and grabbed a box cutter to cut the strap off of bundle of lumber I had and the blade slipped off of the strap and ran across the front of my index finger.
I was barely applying any force to the blade when it ran across my finger but it still sliced right through the glove material........and some of my finger. If someone from Milwaukee reads these reviews, would someone please reply and let me know if this glove is supposed to protect against a box cutter blade as one of your images sort of insinuates? If not I would recommend at least taking down that image as it is very misleading! I ended up buying another brand at a higher cut 5 level to be safe and actually tested it with my box cutter and found that it did not cut through the glove. I guess lesson learned on my side!
I posted this on Milwaukee's webpage and they uploaded the review but did not reply to my question. A day later they REMOVED the review! I guess they only allow POSITIVE reviews! NOT COOL MILWAUKEE!

These gloves give some protection while still being thin enough that you can feel what you are working with. I have to make connections with thin wires and put things together with small parts on construction sites and I am able to do this while wearing these gloves!

These are great work gloves. I used them framing and cabinet making and they not only felt great but did excellent job protecting my hands. I had great range of motion with the stretching fabric on the back of my hands, yet the soft protective palm surface still gave me great feel and dexterity. These would also work equally well for yard or auto work as well. Another great product by Milwaukee

I am a DIYer and although I know I should, I rarely use gloves when working. Since I rarely use them, I didn’t really know much about the different levels of gloves. These gloves are “cut level 1”. After seeing the “cut level”, I decided to research to see what that meant. According to what I read, “cut Level 1” means the gloves are intended for protection against “nuisance cuts” such as those caused by paper cuts, automotive maintenance, parts assembly, and material handling. In other words, these gloves are not intended for heavy work. I have big hands and these X-large gloves fit me comfortably. When I’m wearing them, I still have good dexterity so it’s easy to accomplish my tasks without fumbling around with things. Although I sometimes need heavier duty gloves, these gloves provide me with enough protection for most of the jobs I do around the house. I definitely recommend these gloves for light work around the house.

The Milwaukee Cut A1 rated gloves provide minimal cut protection and are best suited for assembly, maintenance, material handling, and shipping and receiving. The texture on the gloves is slightly rough and is applied consistently. The gloves fit my hands comfortably and I was able to grab items easily. I tested them for puncture and cut resistance. For puncture, I grabbed the stalk of a rose bush to see if the thorns would penetrate the glove. Since the puncture rating on these gloves is a 1 it was no surprise that the sharp thorn was able to pierce the glove with ease. For cut resistance, I laid the gloves on a work bench and swept a razor blade across them in several locations with light pressure. The razor blade was able to cut through the coating and the underlying nylon/lycra layer with ease. No surprise considering the CUT A1 rating. What was disappointing was the SMARTSWIPE fingertip feature which is supposed to permit use of touchscreen devices. Unfortunately, none of my devices responded to touch with the gloves. I tried multiple glove fingers, top, back and tip of the fingers, nothing worked. Considering this is a selling point, I cannot recommend the gloves.
