Miracle Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix can be used with all plants. The mix is formulated to help hold moisture, so it may be appear heavier after watering.

I have an area that is 3'x12' approx, that i plan on planting different plants and flowers, can i use this with miracle grow garden soil

Kingpin: You can. It is primarily a potting mixture but mine eventually gets recycled into my garden plots after my greenhouse and living in a heavy clay area I know it has improved my garden soil. I hope that helps, Hank

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not nearly as good as it used to be I've been using this product for years. It used to work very well to keep the plants watered and healthy. It seems to me that Miracle-Gro changed the formula for this product. Because I have to water the plants almost every day and some days twice a day. The moisture control soil does not seem to retain the water like it used to. I will not buy it next year.

This year I use Miracle Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix and find out that all my flowers and vegetables are not growing fast like many previous years when I used the other Potting Mix. Next year I'll go back to regular Miracle grow product.
