We're sorry to hear you didn't get the3 results you expected after using Miracle-Gro Garden Soil. Weed seeds can be blown in by the wind or come from native soil. This soil does not contain anything to prevent weeds from growing. Reach out to us here for assistance with our product guarantee: https://www.miraclegro.com/en-us/help-center
    More wood chips than dirt
Don’t waste your time if you are looking for soil. This is wood chips more than anything. Lipstick on a pig!

      Sandy Dirt
I am so bery disappointed to see all the sand you are adding to the bags of dirt! Is this to add weight to make a few more buck or are you thinking this could be possibly good! As veggies do not like dirt as it does not retain water in a hot state that already has enough sand!

        Debris in Miracle Grow dirt
really bad dirt, it had 4-in pieces of rubber in it, decaying acorns, broken pieces of brown glass, broken shells, and rocks and concrete all in one bag

          This soil ruined my vegetables
Bought 12 bags,as I needed to add more soil to my vegetable garden. I am so upset. Everywhere I placed the soil something has eaten the leaves of the plants. It was NOT like this the day I added the soil. This is what my plants look like a week later. I added it to the front part and not the back in some areas and around the plants in others it’s done this my broccoli, Brussel sprouts and peas in one garden & tomatoes peppers, and squash plants in another I’ve worked for months on these gardens.

            Great Soil to Use
I've been using Scott's and Miracle-Gro soil after the February freeze in 2021. My ixora garden and golden dewdrop hedge died as well as my ivy garden. I never did use soil or lawn fertilizer on my yard but I decided to give it a try. Am I amazed with all the results of Scott's and Miracle-Gro soil. I'm an avid lawn master now. I maintain my own yard when I relied on a gardener. The soil is good for the ground, it is a thick and rich mound of good food for the plants. I mix it with bone meal and a dash of miracle-gro blue pellet food every three to four months.

              Great if I wanted sod.
I bought this garden soil to put in my raised beds. I use raised beds to keep from weeding. I bought 25 bags and each one was filled with sod like pieces. Lots of them. Very disappointed.

                Not happy
I bought 14 bags of 1.5 cu.ft garden soil and I am not happy. There were sticks, leaves and I found a few grubs in the bag.

Full of wood chips and mold
Every bag was full of wood chips (and a random piece of wire??) and just like other reviews said there was also white mold. This stuff is more like mulch than soil. If I wanted mulch, I would have purchased mulch! HORRIFIC quality. I expected better from the Miracle Gro brand.

                    Moldy soil
Bought 36 bags of the 2 cu ft two days ago. Every single bag has white mold growing between the bag and soil. In some cases within the soil itself. Not sure if this lot was stored for a long time or not prior to sale. During these times of much higher prices, I will be sourcing subsequent garden soil from local ranchers. No more Miracle Grow for me. Hopefully this will not contaminate my garden for the season.
