Great meaty tomatoes
Customer review from miraclegro.com logo
We got the case for a community garden project. And actually out of 30 pods there were some that had 8-9 seeds in each one. We used the miracle mixure to grow the extra seeds in. We ended up with 72 tomato plants that produced the best meaty, juiciest tomatoes we have ever grown. Each one so far has weighed over 1lb. The best part is the plant is disease resistant. We are now teaching the young people for this project how to can and preserve this great tomato.

Good growth but unclear instructions
Customer review from miraclegro.com logo
Although my plant is growing extremely well and is now producing flowers, I do not know whether I should be removing male flowers, as you do with many varieties to prevent the cucumbers from going bitter, or leaving them as you do with some outdoor varieties. It would be useful if this information was on the instructions.

Started out slow but then...look out!
Customer review from miraclegro.com logo
We grew these cucumbers last year. I had to check a few times to make sure they were germinating (so plant earlier) but when they did, WOW! We had a TON of cukes, and the vines went crazy. They even jumped the 8' netting we had for them and went up into a nearby apple tree. We had cucumbers hanging from the apple tree, which looked really funny. Even took pictures of it, I just don't know how to load it here. When the Miracle Grow kicked in, we had fabulous cucumber salads every night. Anyway, these grew fantastic and I would recommend them highly.

Worked for us.
Customer review from miraclegro.com logo
I think these pods are pretty great! We purchased several different types, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, etc. They ALL sprouted and produced nice vegetables. So much so, we went out and bought more. I would rather use these than put seeds in the planters we use (we grow ours on our deck with big pots) . I hope they never go away!

Huge plant!
Customer review from miraclegro.com logo
We planted this pod at the end of April when we moved into our new home. This plant has grown so much that we had to buy a 5 ft trellis to keep it off the ground, this was after using a tomato cage to control the plant. We have our first cucumber that should be ready to harvest in just a few days and many more are growing. We also purchased a tomato and watermelon pod as well, The tomato is doing well and should have fruit shortly. The watermelon is just starting to thrive. Being first time gardeners, we are excited with the growth of this plant.

Great product in southern Ohio
Customer review from miraclegro.com logo
I live in a townhouse with only deck space and no yard so this is a great product for a planter. I planted the globe tomato pod in a 20 inch planter with miracle gro potting soil and the seeds began to germinate after 7 days. 3 plants have come up and are all growing very fast.

Waste of Money!
Customer review from miraclegro.com logo
Chosen for ease as we had planted so many other seedlings with the children. Planted 2 cucumber pods either side of the wigwam along with other bean seedlings. After 5wks there is NOTHING happening from the pods at all! Complete waste of money. They even had half a vimto bottle placed over them to act as a little greenhouse. Thank god my own seedlings worked!! Wont be recommending to anyone.

Response from Consumer ServiceJune 18, 2016
We are very sorry to hear that you were disappointing with the Gro-able Cucumber pods. A common cause of a lack of germination is improper soil temperatures. Ideal temperatures should be between 60-85 degrees Fahrenheit (18-29 C). Also, not enough or too much water can cause problems. Soil should be damp but not water logged. We want you to be confident in our products, this is why we offer a product guarantee. Hit and miss - needed extra warmth
Customer review from miraclegro.com logo
I had planted 4 of these pods (cayenne pepper, 2 x cucumber and tomato). 4 weeks later nothing had happened. After reading some reviews here and the response I spotted a reply mentioning getting the soil the right temperature for germination. I tried cutting the tops of soft drinks bottles and using them as mini greenhouses, putting one over each of the pods, four days later they sprouted. Maybe some better directions on the packaging would have helped them sprout earlier.
