I have two Miracle gro feeder and both don't work why?

Make sure the spray setting is pointing directly to either "Feed" or "Water". It won't spray if in between a setting or on "Off". Can you Miracle Gro water soluable powder fertilizer in this?

Can it be used on grass
The Liquafeed product will not harm grass if it would happen to get on the grass. However, the product is not formulated to be used on grass.

Miracle-Gro LiquaFeed Bloom-Booster Flower Food can be used for all flowers, all vegetables, garden beds, trees, shrubs, herbs, bulbs and cacti.
What is the scoop that is supplied with this kit used for?
Miracle-Gro Liqua Feed Advanced Starter Kit comes with a dosing spoon in case you want to use the product without the feeder. We do not recommend trying to measure product into a regular teaspoon! Is difficult to squeeze out the correct amount of product without the dosing spoon. Attach the LiquaFeed dosing spoon to bottle by removing cap and twisting dosing spoon onto bottle Tilt bottle and gently squeeze so that liquid begins to fill dosing spoon.
If you want to use a watering can versus this spray system, you use the spoon to get the proper dosage. Instructions for use are on the back on the package.

would this help with new grass seed
I don't know, but with new grass seed you should use a starter fertilizer. We just planted new grass last year and watering daily or every other day with new grass seed is important to get it started.
Miracle-Gro Liqua Feed is a straight fertilizer that technically can be used on any grass type. However, plant foods are not the best choice for a lawn because the NPK ratio is not optimized for lawn needs. Also some states, cities, or counties have restrictions on applying phosphorous to the lawn. This product contains phosphorus which is needed in larger amounts by edible and ornamental plants compared to grasses which need little phosphorous.
How much do you add per gallon if you don't have the spoon? It must be just as easy to use a measuring cup if you know the amount.
I use the feeder that you attach to the water hose. I find that it is allot easier and much quicker, and it assures me that I am not over feeding..
Miracle-Gro LiquaFeed Bloom-Booster Flower Food can be mixed at 2 teaspoons per gallon of water for outdoor use, and for indoor use 2 teaspoons for 2 gallons of water.
I connected the bottle of Miracle Gro to my garden hose using a Miracle Gro sprayer and sprayed the plants in my garden. It has worked wonders!
