LiquaFeed 16 oz. All-Purpose Plant Food Refills (4-Pack)

A:  Miracle-Gro LiquaFeed All-Purpose Plant Food is a straight fertilizer that technically can be used on any grass type, however, plant foods are not the best choice for a lawn because the NPK ratio is not optimized for lawn needs. Some states, cities, or counties have restrictions on applying phosphorus to the lawn. This product contains phosphorus which is needed in larger amounts by edible and ornamental plants compared to grasses which need little phosphorous.

A:  Miracle-Gro Liquafeed All Purpose Plant Food can also be diluted using the Miracle-Gro LiquaFeed dosing spoon provided. - For Outdoor use: using the dosing spoon fill to the lower line and mix with 1 gallon of water or fill to the top line and mix with 2 gallons of water. For outdoor tomatoes, using the dosing spoon, fill to the top line and mix with 1 gallon of water to satisfy their higher nutritional requirements. - For indoor use: using the dosing spoon, fill to lower line and mix with 2 gallons of water. The first line on the dosing spoon is approximately 2 teaspoons and the second line is approximately 4 tsp. We do not recommend using a half-gallon watering due to the difficulty of getting an accurate dose of Miracle-Gro Liquafeed All Purpose Plant Food needed.

A:  This bottle only works with the liquid feed nozzle, it screws on the nozzle when you attach the nozzle to the hose and it works great.  It not meant to pour into a watering can.  Buy the miracle grow liquid feed nozzle if you want to use this product. 

A:  Miracle-Gro Liqua Feed Advanced Starter Kit comes with a dosing spoon in case you want to use the product without the feeder. We do not recommend trying to measure product into a regular teaspoon! Is difficult to squeeze out the correct amount of product without the dosing spoon. Attach the LiquaFeed dosing spoon to bottle by removing cap and twisting dosing spoon onto bottle Tilt bottle and gently squeeze so that liquid begins to fill dosing spoon.

A:  For mixing with water in a bottle or watering can.

A:  I don't know, but with new grass seed you should use a starter fertilizer.  We just planted new grass last year and watering daily or every other day with new grass seed is important to get it started.
