          Turned my stone highlighter yellow
This product ruined my entire backsplash. After applying it per the directions, the next morning I woke up to a backsplash that was irreparably damaged due to bright yellow staining. DO NOT USE ON ALASKA GRAY TILES (sold at Home Depot)

I'm and stone and tile expert
I've been a atone and tile expert for over 2 decades. I am often hired to figure out the issues of a surface and resolve them. I am also an expert consultation who has provided expert witness testimony services. This is one of the worst products (next to crystallizers and waxes) that people and installers commonly use and it costs so much for people as it requires to be stripped it off and refinishing the surfaces that are able to be resurfaced.

Let's see what we can figure out. Miracle Sealants 511 Impregnator is a penetrating sealer, it is not a film forming sealer. Apply 511 as directed on the label, allow to remain on the surface for 3-5 minutes. All excess must be removed at this time by buffing the surface with a clean, lint free rag. This step is very important, as removing excess sealant is necessary for all substrates. Do not allow 511 to dry on the surface.

              Grout turned yellow
I followed the instruction carefully. It’s been 2 months since we applied the product and the grout looks yellow and not white anymore. We don't ever use this particular bathroom (guest bath). This is a brand new house… How do we remove the yellow stain on our grout?

              Response from Rust-OleumSupportJan 25, 2023
Thank you for reaching out! If the grout was sealed using our Miracle Sealants 511 Impregnator Sealer, the discoloration may be on the surface, and cleaned easily. The sealer remains in the surface, preventing staining in the grout, and making it easier to clean. If the yellow discoloration is not able to be removed, please give us a call at 800-350-1901, and we will be happy to help! Rustoleum

Dramatically changed the color of the stone
This product will dramatically change the color of your stone. Please see the attached image. I'm not sure why they say that it will not alter the natural look. This is Picasso ledger panel from MSI Products. This is one coat. The Picasso ledger panel is travertine stone. This totally changed the color to something not even close to the original. Not what I wanted...

                  Turned my white grout yellow

This is not what we expect to hear, Isabella! Rust-Oleum Miracle Sealants 511 Impregnator Sealer is a penetrating sealer and will sit subsurface. All excess product needs to be wiped away to ensure proper drying and performance after a few minutes. We do want to gather more details to best get to the bottom of this and try to make things right with you. Please give us a call at 800-350-1901 to talk with us further.

                    Obviously great so far
Just sealed a porcelain, sanded grout and concrete coping back yard. The installer clearly missed some areas but this makes for a great “a vs b” review. As you can see in the picture pool splashes bubble up in the treated areas and just absorb in the untreated concrete areas. I wasn’t sure this would penetrate the porcelain tiles but it did fantastic there so far. The tiles needed a little wipe down 20 minutes after application and now they are also repelling water.

                      Help! White haze left
I followed the instructions exactly. Tried a test area, it was fine. Applied, buffed off. There was a haze. Reapplied. Buffed. Reapplied, buffed, MANY times and still this white haze. Help!

That is not what we like to hear! Our Miracle Sealants 511 Impregnator Sealer should be buffed to remove it from the surface after 3-5 minutes; if it is left longer, it may dry on the surface, creating a haze. Please give us a call at 800-350-1901, we want to gather more information about the application, and try to make things right. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 2 Rustoleum

Thank you for reaching out! Our Miracle Sealants 511 Impregnator Sealer is not a surface coating, and will not alter the natural look of the surface. After applying the sealer, all excess must be removed by buffing the surface with a clean, lint free rag. This step is very important, as removing excess sealant is necessary for all substrates, and sealer left on the surface may cause hazing, tackiness, or color differences. To reactivate sealer left on the surface, apply an additional application of 511 Impregnator, or Mineral Spirits, then buff thoroughly with a lint-free rag. For harder surface materials made from stone, #00 steel wool may be used to more easily remove the sealer residue from the surface, followed by buffing with a cloth. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 2 Rustoleum
