Do they protect from the virus

AnswerA single layer of fabric like this might not be effective enough if worn as is. However, if you fold it in half, or wear two, now you have two layers of fabric and you could even put another layer of fabric between them. Then, as long as it stays in place, you'd be in good shape. One layer is better than nothing but your risk of catching or passing the coronavirus decreases with additional layers. Best of luck.
What are the opening diameters? My wife does not like anything that is very tight around her neck.

Performs Well!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the gaiter mask is comfortable and stays in place while in use. The breathability of the fabric is nice and it didn't result in a large amount of moisture on face after using for several hours. If you do wear glasses you it will take some time to figure out the best placement to ensure your glasses do not get fogged. Overall good product.

It is very comfortable and I can wear it all day at work and it does not bother me at all. I have also found it is perfect for working out. There is an adjustable cord that you can pull and tighten or loosen. This ensures that the fit is perfect. There is no slip and it stays in place easily. If you are active this gaiter is a must have.

Great Gater

Perfect for cold walks

It is soft to prevent chaffing, stretchy, and way more breathable than the last masks we had. The fact that it’s adjustable and not “one size “should” fit all” is perfect.
