The material is flexible wood poly composite at 1/4" thick. The frame and post installation per the manufacture install instructions is the key to long term outdoor success. Once installed correctly the panels withstand wind and sunlight.

I like the design but the material is not sturdy. Its thin woodlike. I accidentally pulled to lift lightly and a design tore. Went online and found metal version for less.
