It's hard to imagine a more compatible design and color in an area rug. While it's clearly a machine-made rug, it has the classic aesthetic of traditional hand knotted. The pattern is subtle in color contrast, enough that it works in transitional decorated rooms. In my case, it's in a 100 year old bungalow and it marries into our interior just fine.
Quality is average to good. Time will tell if the synthetic pile holds up well to foot traffic, but the density suggests that it will. I wonder more about the durability of the synthetic yarn wrapped edge binding, where a common foot traffic pattern may abrade the same portion of the edge over time.
The backing is rubberized to provide non-slip friction on a smooth floor. It works like a charm in that regard, deleting any need for an anti-slip underlayment. However, it's important for larger area rugs to 'breathe' against wood floors, especially if there's a possibility of moisture on or under the rug. I did a simple tap water porosity test (see pic), and while water will bead up initially, the rubber membrane is slightly porous and water will absorb through within 20-30 minutes, a good thing in my opinion.

Good rug. Came wrapped in plastic. Nice pattern. We laid it out and took the pictures. It is easy to clean with soap and water as per instructions. Backing is a rubber like material that will keep the rug in place and not move around the room when walking on it. The colors pickup the colors in the room very well. In a gray wall covered room, pattern looks gray. In a white room with green accents, it looks like a light green.

Wonderful soft rug! I was nicely surprised by this Mohawk rug. It comes with a rubber backing so you don't need a separate underlay to keep it in place. Mohawk has been a household name for may years and they seem to do well innovating and staying up with customer wants, needs and desires. I ordered this online and it was very true to color when I received it. The rug arrived via UPS rolled up and secure on the inside with heavy plastic wrap on the outside for a safe delivery.

Pleasantly surprised. Its not the thickest or most plush but for the price, its really nice. Love the pattern and color and the size was perfect. Not really a typical size which was also a plus. By far, the best part was the rubberized coating on the bottom, no slipping on the hardwood floor. So far, very impressed with this one and this is after buying a few other rugs from other well known online stores.

LOVE LOVE LOVE This area rug by Mohawk. This 5x8 foot Juniper Cream rug fit the bill for us! The gray and cream patterned color worked perfectly in our traditional space and the color works well to match with any decor a room might have. The backing is actually textured and has a non-slip like coating to the bottom. The rug is not too plush, but we prefer that so the Roomba won’t get stuck. Has an oriental rug quality but way more modern of a feel. Will turn to Mohawk for our next rug purchase.
