First off, I have to say, this is one HEAVY area rug. It took two of us to move it into the room. I account the weight 100 perfect to the fact there is so much yarn per square inch of backing.
It does take a bit for the rug to relax, but was very pleased that it does not have any production or chemical smells what so ever. Was very impressed.
While it does claim to be an 8 foot by 10 foot rug, that must be before the tufting has been installed. We found our carpet to be a couple three inches smaller in each direction. Which in our case was just fine.
Carpet fibers are nice and lush under the foot. Height of fibers are nice as well. Recovers well when walked on. Will also hide life's little drops and spills well.
Have only had the rug down for a week now, but so far, truly loving the fit in the room, the warm feel it gives and the nice overall appearance of this rug.

Very nice super plush area rug, with nice color/pattern and a thick knap. It has nice thick sewn binding around the entire perimeter with a solid backing. It is thick enough that it should not require any extra carpet paddling for a nice soft flooring.
I got this to provide a soft flooring for the she-shed I'm building for my wife, which is an 8x15' vinyl shed... This rug will nearly cover it wall to wall. She's very happy with the quality, so this was a great find.

This area rug arrived nicely packaged, and it unrolled easily with no creases. It is soft to the touch, and very thick, plush, and inviting. The mix of colors combine nicely to go with just about any decor. The edge stitching is well-done and frames the rug nicely. I am very pleased with the quality and comfort under-foot of this Mohawk Stria Area Rug. The earth-toned color scheme of this rug should blend well with most furnishings. It looks especially nice with wood furniture accents. It is a blend of greyish blue/light and dark taupe and a lighter tan-beige. The actual rug is lighter than the product photo but nevertheless very attractive. Lighting clearly will also influence the appearance in your home. The binding of the edges is neat and tight. It is 100% polyester and produced from fibers that are recycled from plastic bottles. In addition to these appealing features, this rug boasts a luscious, plush feel on bare feet. It is silky smooth and so comfortable. It may be the most comfortable rug in my home.

What a beautiful Rug. My wife and I are so happy with the Stria Grey area rug made by Mohawk we got from Home Depot.. The rug is the perfect size for our TV room and it you can tell by the weight and feel that the rug is made of high quality material. The rug was so dense that we did not even feel the need to use rug padding underneath it. The color pattern is rich and it is extremely soft to the touch. I can honestly say that this is one of the best area rugs we have ever had.

I didn't realize just how large an open 8' X 10' area was until I went to install this rug. Found it fit perfectly in the dining room. The color and design blend in nicely with all existing decor. The color didn't match the picture of what I ordered, (hard to tell from the small picture), but in reality I like it much better. The softness of the pile is excellent. The backing keeps it laying flat with no curling.

Excellent quality, with medium height piles and doesn't shed after vacuuming which is common on low quality carpets. The feel is soft gentle to bare foot. Recommended for heavy traffic. Great Area Rug - Well made with a color pattern that looks great. The colors complement each other. The rug materials are high quality and the backing seems very rugged. The binding along the sides is well made and provides a nice finish look. Just vacuuming the rug brings the pile up nicely giving it a nice look. Mohawk Stria Area Rug 8 x 10’ is 100% polyester. This plush carpet is very soft to walk on. The pile is about ½ “ thick and appears to have a solid backing. The variegated design consists of different shades of blue, brown, grey and white. It reminds me of the waves in the ocean. The appearance is much nicer than it’s picture online. We will put this rug in the bedroom over the hardwood flooring to add a nice layer of warmth in the winter. I would also recommend it for a living area or sitting area.
