Questions & Answers
What is the width of the tub floor?
Hi, the tub floor is 540 mm (21.26 in.) wide on the outside and 460 mm (18.5 in.) wide on the inside. Thank you!
Is the tub drain hole standard so that a rigid tailpiece can be placed on the tub and lowered into a matching drain adapter in the floor? In other words, don't use the supplied flex drain hose but drain straight down into a proper drain fixture.
Yes,and it is recommended that you purchase the appropriate drain.Thank you for consulting with Mokleba!
I plan to purchase this tub with right drain but would like the wall mount faucet above the drain. Is this feasible and if so what would be the reccommenede faucet length or will a standard do? Thank you.
Hi,This is Mokleba customer service. The height of the bathtub is 23 inches. The floor faucet should be positioned slightly higher than the bathtub.Thank you for consulting with Mokleba!
Schematic photo & specs page must be incorrect for water capacity. The 59" lists 88 lbs capacity while same tub in 63" shows 68 lbs?? How can the smaller tub hold more water? Please confirm the water capacity of both the 59" and 63" tubs for this model.
Hi,This is Mokleba customer service. The 59-inch tub has a capacity of 63 pounds, while the 63-inch tub has a capacity of 68 pounds.Thank you for consulting with Mokleba!
Can you install this on a sloped floor (e.g. in a wet room with a 1/4in per ft slope)?
Hi,This is Mokleba customer service. We do not recommend installation on sloping ground. The bathtub water capacity will become less.Thank you for consulting Mokleba.
The tub length and the basin length both show 63". But this can't be right. What is the INTERIOR length? And can you tell me what the slope angle is on the "slipper" side?
Hi.This is Mokleba customer service. The internal flat bottom length is 45.27 in. The angle of the inner upper edge is about 124°, and the angle of the outer edge is about 54°.Thank you for consulting Mokleba.
Does the drain hose come with the tub or does that need to be purchased separately?
Hello This is Mokleba customer service. As long as you have an available drain and water source, we will provide a pre-install drain and hose, and you will need to install a wall-mounted faucet or freestanding faucet that is taller than the tub to enjoy your soaking bath. If you need more information, please contact Mokleba at sales@moklebabath.com
