Impressive hardwood island. The assembly was pretty straight forward if you follow the instructions. I loved the island, I was expecting a pressed wood product but it is solid hardwood, unlike the ones you get from Wally world.
It does come up in 3 boxes with weigh around 120-140 pounds each. I disassembled the parts in the garage took each part into the kitchen to assemble.
A drill for the screw and the hex wrench would speed up the process. There are couple of people who mention about "bug holes" through out the wood, this infact is actually an superfical pattern the manufacturers imparted on the wood to impart the vintage feel. It took 3 of us to assemble the stuff and got it done in 4 hours. The only portion that took the time was the granite inlay which did not align well with the body. We finally ended up using 3 out of the 4 hex screws to hold the granite inlay in place.
But overall I am impressed.
Please note the item in the picture of the description is darker than what I have received.

I did a store pick up. This came perfectly packaged in three boxes and was easy to unpack. It is heavy and took two people to carry in
the house. Construction was fairly easy and I only needed another person to help with the granite top. Actually looks better than
the picture. It's a solid handsome piece. Lost a star because one of the drawers binds a little when opening and closing, but still works. The other
drawer is perfect. I am sure I can fix this when i get the time.

Found the assembly was fairly easy just a little time consuming,I was very pleased with the fit of all parts,overall quality of the island was excellent.I would recommend this product.
Took about 2 hours to assemble. 2 person job....

Took about 2 hours to assemble. 2 person job. Delbert was quick. Less than a week . Quality of wood is excellent. Well built. Heavy boxes. But not too much assembly required. Worst part is aligning the holes to attach the granite top. Very pleased with delivery and quality
