These high quality diamond core bits can be used both dry and wet on granite and concrete countertops. They can be used to drill porcelain tile very effectively if edge chipping is not a big concern.
  • 1/4 in., 3/16 in., 3/8 in. and 1/2 in. bits are non-core bits
  • 5/8 in. - 11 in. arbor fits standard polishers and grinders
  • Maximum speed for the bits are 4500 RPM
  • Use water to cool down the bit is highly recommend to extend their lives
  • 3.5 in. total length and 2.5 in. drilling depth
  • Both coring bits and smaller size non-coring bits have holes for center water cooling

Can this be used to drill stone?

Yes this diamond bit is designed for drilling granite and other types of hard stones as well as concrete. Drilling marble is not recommended since it may chip marble.

No this diamond bit won't work for drilling through glass tile. Use vacuum brazed diamond core drill bit instead.

Yes it has 5/8-11 female thread that can be screwed onto a grinder. However, we recommend a variable speed grinder since maximum speed for this diamond bit is 5000 RPM.

It’s OK - just be aware that it’s not 3/8”...
It’s OK - just be aware that it’s not 3/8” as advertised, but 10mm. Immaterial for most applications, but if you need an actual 3/8” bit...look further.

Only drilled 4 holes so far therefore can't vouch for longevity. But it did the job. Was able to drill through a 1 1/4 inch piece of granite without any issues. But also had to purchase an adapter to fit my drill.
