The Mr Beams Amber Stick Anywhere Light is specifically designed to be a sleep-friendly night light.       Q:I want to use this as an installed light over the door of my RV. Does it have an off/on switch so it will not stay on at night as I drive down the road?

      A:  Hi TET1968! No, our lights do not come with a manual on/off switch. You can easily remove it from the bracket and store it while traveling. I would also recommend removing the batteries as well to avoid unnecessary activations if if is jostled. Thanks!

          A:  It is motion activated so if anything moves in front of it in the dark, it will come on. There is no on-off switch.

                A:  I believe it will shut off on it's own when no further motion is detected. I use them on my indoor staircase, and that has been my experience. Good Luck!!

                I purchased the Beams WHITE Motion Activated Battery Powered LED Night Light -- GREAT product! Very helpful to light my way at night. I thought I'd try these YELLOW lights (supposedly better at night). Big disappointment -- where not very bright. I'm planning on purchasing some more of the Beams WHITE night lights -- just trying to decide between the four-pack or the six-pack.

                Works Great ! bought a couple more and placed around the corridors and rooms where turning on light can be an issue especially kids room at night. This avoids disturbing their sleep and is also a pleasant way to wake up to a gentle light upon motion.
