Illegal in Massachusetts to use this indoors
Thank you for your inquiry. This unit does not have a blower fan installed.
There is no difference, you just can't use the heater in an enclosed space, even with ventilation in Massachusetts
Thank you for your inquiry. This heater will run 108 hours on low and 48 hours on high on a 20 pound tank.
It says to keep it depressed and lit for 30seconds, I usually then move it over to high heat until the ceramic element glows red, then I turn it down to low. I'm not sure if your pilot light is going off while you're trying to light it.
Thank you for your inquiry. No, a regulator is not need. This heater has a regulator already installed.
Thank you for your inquiry; Yes, you can use a 30 lb tank. Remember to always open the valve on the tank very very slowly as to not rush high pressure through the hose shutting down the heater.
Altitude restriction on buddy Thank you for the inquiry, The buddy series does have an elevation restriction of 7,000 feet, but it will in fact still work at higher elevations. The problem that occurs at elevations higher than 7,000 is the oxygen level in the air is naturally thinner at those elevations and can sometimes confuse the low oxygen safety sensor on the heater. If that were to happen the heater will simply shut itself off. Usually, letting the space the heater is being operated in get some fresh outdoor air to replenish the oxygen level will help allow the heater to remain operational for longer periods of time. I hope this helps. Have a great day!
Just propane. The small bottle. Best product on the market. I’m on our Ranch in The white mountains in AZ and it is snowing on and off and this Buddy heaters are the absolute best. I bought two of them.
