No. It's very weak. It's not even good for painting.

More sturdy and straighter than a wooden pole or lesser quality poles, this pole adjusts to the "Goldilocks" length of poles (just right). I don't paint often but when I have to, I want to be as comfortable as possible. I have nothing negative to say about this tool accessory and I glad I purchased it.

I should have listened to my gut and purchased the more expensive wooden Extension Pole. At least I would be able to use the wooden Extension Pole more than once.
