What is the weight limit for the stool?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I cannot imagine gardening without this seat! The under-seat carrier is very handy for holding wa... I cannot imagine gardening without this seat! The under-seat carrier is very handy for holding water, gloves, towels, insect repellent, and of course the included tools. It can be removed for cleaning by using the four snap-on buttons. The tools have held up well so far, even despite knocks on brick and rocks. When I first received this, I thought the seat rather low and small. Turns out it is just the right height to simulate squatting. I've had no problem using it on an incline either. It is sturdy and yet lightweight. The handles on the tote make the seat very easy to transport and don't get in the way. I have two suggestions for Muscle Rack: 1) A second, slightly taller model would probably be more comfortable for larger people. I'm 5'6", and this was perfect for me. However, I expect it might be a tad small for those much taller than I am. 2) Sell the stool separately. I'm sure this will last me awhile, but of all the components, I anticipate the seat cover will be the first thing that'll need to be replaced given my weight. Would be a shame, and wasteful, to have to replace the entire set. All in all, I absolutely love this and recommend it wholeheartedly. I considered other types, like the invertible kneeler/seat and rolling garden cart/scooter, but decided on this one and have no regrets!

Great set, complete with a seat that doubles as a storage container for all the tools. I like it because I can go right down the line of the bed of roses and use all the tools. I also appreciate that it doubles as its own carrying case. The seat may not last too long since I am a larger person, but it does seem to hold. I like that the tools can be slipped into the pouches on the outside or just left inside the seat/bag. What I also like is that when you are working with new flowers or seeds or anything like that, you can take the trash as you go down the line in your garden beds and just dump it all out at the end. It serves as its own trash can too! If you have a vegetable garden with low veggies you have to sit on the ground or get on your hands and knees to work for them...this is your product. No more getting dirty. Just use the stool!

The eight piece tool set is light weight, but built to withstand heavy soil and rocks. The light weight lends itself to being able to port the tools and bag around the garden with ease. When tool bag is extend it makes a nice seat to sit in. I'm 5.6 and my knees are level with my hips when sitting, sure saves your back and it's easy to get up from. The tools consist of trowel, fork, transplanter, weeder, rake and pruner. The tools bag, has two pockets that have snaps, numerous open pockets to store tools and seeds. Plus, under the seat storage too. The tools could use a little more cushion in the handles, but they aren't bad.

I just got this set and there's snow on the ground now, so I won't be able to put them to work for a few weeks, but I can hardly wait. I'm buying more of these sets as gifts for friends and family who like to play in the dirt. The seat portion is a good size and folds up and folds out smoothly and easily. The bag is surrounded by pockets to keep the tools, your phone, water and anything else handy. There's storage in the body of the set. These tools are EXTRA nice, solid and look like they're do the job very well, even with rugged use.

This is a very good product for the home gardener as it not only acts as something to sit on it also holds the tools that you need to get the yard work done. This comes complete with the seat as well as the pouch that attaches to the seat with the tools that you need. How many times have you took a seat out to the garden to get it weeded and you ran across roots that needed to be cut and you had to go back to shed or garage to get another tool, not with this the tools go where you go. It seems to be made quite well and I think that it should hold up rather well.

It comes with a medium duty carry bag that snaps to the bottom of an accompanying folding stool. The kit has a small hand spade along with a bulb spade, 2 styles of forks as well as a pair of pruning sheers and a forked weeder. None of these tools are the inexpensive stamped steel stuff. They are very rugged. The only thing I didn't care for was the style of handle , but I haven't broken them yet. Great gift for the homeowner gardener.
