Mylen 60-inch exterior spiral staircase and assembly
The outdoor spiral star case is very nice and structurally robust, and the completed assembly for our elevated deck looks and feels great. Prior to assembly, foundations and structural framing must be carefully measured and checked for attachments. It is extremely important that instructions are reviewed and followed completely before beginning assembly, and also be prepared for some fit up and alignment issues. For example, the top of the spiral stair deck plate was significantly warped from the hot dip galvanizing process. The call center expert at Mylen was familiar with the issue. They were able to provide assurance the warp would correct itself during assembly and alignment with the center stair column pushing the plate back into a level position and it did. This is not a job for beginners and mechanical skills will be required. Follow safe work practices and good luck.

Very SOLID stair case!
I could not find many reviews on the Mylen exterior spiral cases online, so I took a bit of a gamble. I couldn't be happier! The staircase is commercial-style, very heavy duty. Treads, landing, railing, and column are all very thick (and heavy) galvanized steel. I was concerned that the vinyl handrail would be flimsy or look cheap, but it is actually looks great. Instructions are OK but not perfect, but if you're handy installation is not too difficult.

very nice for the price.
Assembly was rather easy and unit looks nice. The unit was what it said it was and instalation process is good, just read instructions entirely first. Only comes with one upper rail although, called company and you have to order seperate and is very pricey to get 2nd rail. Home depot does not offer 2nd rail. Very happy with end result.

Bad Quality
Bad quality. This belongs to a warehouse where the look is not that important. Also, Aluminun hand rail is super complicated to install and it does not end on a good share.

Super disappointed that this manufacturer doesn’t have quality control on their product going out the door, we have to sand the inside of over half the treds because the overspray doesn’t allow the steps to slide on the posts. Wouldn’t not recommend

Manufacturer's Defect & No Customer Service Reply
This came to me with multiple treads that were nowhere NEAR circular, so they wouldn't slide onto the pole. I contacted customer service and they won't get back to me, so I had to pay someone $300 to machine the pieces to make them slide onto the pole properly. For $3,000 you'd think they'd answer my email. I wouldn't recommend this, mainly because the customer service is really bad. If anything is wrong, you're out of luck. It's a decent staircase though and it doesn't budge.

Worst stairs and shipping delayed
Don’t buy this spiral stairs the are missing one of the railings which is shown in the images and diagrams but once the product shows up only one railing is delivered says the other railing is optional. You got to be kidding if it’s safe with only one railing. Now I have to pay extra to get another one. Also don’t ever expect to receive on time I had my shipment twice delayed took close to 2 months. The quality is poor as well don’t believe the fake reviews inserted by the manufacturer. Don’t buy this and regret.

Great product
Exterior galvanized 5' dia stair. Shipped on time. Assembly was just as installation manual described. Alum handrail was the hardest part of install. Getting a smooth railing with no kinks took a little time . I recommend predrilling all of the ballusters first. Screws were stripping out before getting to railing. Very happy with end product.
