I pulled out the broken pieces and then filed the gaps with Quikrete 5000. The color of the new concrete is different, but it has held up well.

Yes after forming this concrete is very strong. Put some fibers in it and make it 3x as strong!

You talk about tempature when pouring, are you talking about weather air or ground weather temp, 50 degrees?

Air temperature. Ground temp is colder. Below 50 and mix will either take much longer to cure or not cure properly

Would this be your best product to repair a stone lake wall in Maine? It takes wave impact from storms or passing boats.

After a 5-6 week set time this stuff is tuff. I don't know if its the best thing that you can use but it may work for you

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I built an outdoor kitchen area on my deck with concrete counters. Having never done this before,... I built an outdoor kitchen area on my deck with concrete counters. Having never done this before, I decided to use this concrete based on reading some other reviews and posts online and asking around what other people have used. This stuff worked perfectly, and the counters turned out great. I made sure to let them fully dry and then sealed them with a very high gloss sealer to help seal them from not only the weather, but any food drippings, grease spots and general messes that tend to happen around a grill. If I had to go back and do it again, I would have made the counters even bigger. I made them slightly smaller because I was worried how well they would turn out for it being my first time, but it was so easy it was really hard to mess up. Great stuff. Look forward to the next counters I do.
