Product Details

Access the drain pipe system to clear out clogs with the PVC Cleanout Adapter. Hub connects to 6 in. Sewer and Drain (S&D) pipe; 6 in. Female Pipe Thread (FPT) connection fits 6 in. Male Pipe Thread (MPT) Cleanout Plug, sold separately. Durable yet lightweight, the drain fitting is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) for Hub X FPT solvent-weld connections. Meets applicable ASTM standards. For use in non-pressurized underground sewer and drainage applications; maximum working pressure of 5 psi. This adapter connects two different pipe types.   • As part of a complete drainage system, the PVC adapter connects S&D pipe with a hub connection on one end and either a threaded plug for access to the drain pipe system, or threaded pipe to convey water for proper release downstream
  • Attach 6 in. S&D pipe to hub end, screw 6 in. MPT pipe to 6 in. FPT end; can be solvent-welded to PVC components for a watertight connection
  • Adapter made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) using a combination of virgin and recycled content treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking.
  • Use with PVC S&D Cleanout Plug, 6 in. MPT (61P8)

Q:I have a terra cotta cleanout so close to my house I cant fit something over it. It has no cap on it and is open. It has no threads.The diameter is about 7" outside flange inside 6" pipe opening about 4 1/8 could I set this in there and get a screw in cap

A:  Hi ned2no, the cleanout adapter part# 4P11 connects to 4" Sewer and Drain SDR35 pipe. Also, the 4" female pipe thread (FPT) connection fits 4" male pipe thread (MPT) cleanout plug (41P8), sold separately. You would need a flexible fitting and use it on the clay pipe to connect to 4P11.

    A:  Part# 4P11 will connect to 4" SDR 35 (drain/sewer) pipe. The Outer diameter of the fitting is 6.56".

      A:  The only sizes that we can provide are 3", 4" and 6". The part number for the 4" is 4P11 for S&D pipe and the cap is 41P8.

        A:  The inside diameter of the non-threaded end is 6.31" which is designed to fit SDR-35, SDR-26 and triple wall pipe.
