If the faucet after removing the aerator has female threads. Most faucets on utility sinks that I have work with have male threads.
Will leak if you don’t use the proper black washer and don’t over tighten things should be fine or use Teflon tape on threads .
No this adapter works with 3/4 inch garden hose.

I have not used it in that way, But to be honest, It does not sound like a good idea. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't chance it.
