The Nes 1A is a universal external thread repair tool. This easy-to-use tools operate by adjusting the knob that sets the proper diameter of the tool to the thread, and the blades float to the correct pitch. Once the tool fits into a thread slot, begin repairing the threads by simply rotating the tool. Comes equipped with blades made from hardened steel.

In the situation I had, it was too wide to fit on the short spindle of threading I had that needed repair; I therefore returned the item for a full refund.

Description in Error
The online description stated the tool will repair a threads up to 3/4 in. When the tool arrived the package stated the tool will repair threads up to 11/16 in. I needed 3/4 dia thread tool.
