Product Details

The NIBCO 1-1/2 in. ABS DWV coupling is used in residential and commercial drain, waste and vent systems. The ABS DWV coupling features a hub x hub connection and connects ABS DWV piping lengths with solvent weld connections. Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) is resistant to a wide variety of materials ranging from sewage to commercial household chemical formulations and can be exposed to a wide temperature span.

  • ABS construction for durability

    A:  Thank you for your inquiry on the NIBCO 1-1/2 in. ABS DWV Hub x Hub Coupling. The NIBCO DWV coupling will not work if the you are wanting to replace a Schedule 40 coupling.       A:  Thank you for your inquiry on the 1-1/2 in. ABS DWV Hub x Hub Coupling. The 5801 2 in. has an ID measurement of 2.385 in. which accepts 2 in. nominal ABS pipe with the OD measurement of 2.375 in. or 2 3/8 in. You will need to order the 2 in. 5801 instead of the 1 1/2 in.             A:  You are mistaking the hyphen - as a numerical divider. It is stating that this is a 1" to 1/2" coupler/reducer they replaced the word to with the -
