Product Details

The NIBCO Press System 1/2 in. copper cap features an inboard bead and EPDM O-ring. Simply applying pressure from a pressing tool tightens the O-ring onto the tube, ensuring a clean, watertight seal in seconds with no flame, solder or flux. The cap has a press connection. The fitting is used to fit over the end of pipe to seal the end. NIBCO press fittings are the fastest, easiest way to join copper tubing.
  • 1/2 in. Inside Diameter and 0.625 in. Outside Diameter
  • Lead-free
  • Dezincification resistant
  • Operating pressure 200 psi CWP
  • Temperature range -20 degree F to 250 degree F
  • ASTM B75 Alloy C12200

Any copper cup will fit over the same size pipe with enough clearance to slip on and off readily, if both the cup and pipe are relatively round.
