This was a perfect solution for fixing a tape in the roof of our outdoor storage shed compared to the alternative of spending $100+ on a replacement cover.
After a couple of years of use, the Tyvek fabric cover on our outdoor storage shed had become fragile and ripped in a recent windstorm. We decided to try out this duct tape to fix the split and it worked perfectly. We applied it to the outside of the roofing panel and also on the inside along the edges of the tear for extra strength.
I had already tried to repair it with another brand of duct tape however it didn’t adhere too well however this Nashua brand tape seemed to stick better and stayed put. I found it easy to tear and the strips didn’t fold over and stick to themselves at the ends like some other brands of tape I’ve used.
We also used it to tape the lid shut on our cooler when we came back from a fishing trip to Mexico. The cooler lid was still firmly closed and the contents of the cooler were in tact despite going through the airport baggage system in Cabo San Lucas and Los Angeles.

Heavy duty Duct tape. We all have to have a roll of it handy, and this is the real stuff.
This is a standard size roll 30 yards in length and 1.89" wide (48mm x 27.4m)
It tears off easily and produces a very straight teat edge. (See picture).
I used to to repair a plastic mouse trap that go smashed. I was able to hold all the plastic pieces together and then seal it all up, to bring the trap back into working order.

This was an easy tape to review, as I had several other brands to compare it to. I use duct tape for, well, most everything except ductwork. Occasionally, I do duct work, but again, more frequently for other things like most folks.
On stretch wrap, I tried 2 other brands besides the Nashua tape. Nashua seemed to adhere as well as the other 2 brands. I left it on overnight and they all were still clinging well the next day.
On cardboard, again, the Nashua tape had as good adherence as the other 2 brands. To be fair, the Iron Grip tape was 17-mil, compared to the Nashua at 10-mil and the 3M at 7.4-mil for comparison purposes. The Nashua held as well as the other 2 without coming off or tearing when I put force on the joint that they were holding.
On metal, they all had very good adherence with the Nashua doing just as well as the other 2 brands. I would probably go with the Nashua on sheet metal as the price is the best and it held as well as the more expensive brands.
I tried all 3 to tape a lid on a plastic container. The Nashua and 3M did well due to the fact that they were thinner and wrapped on the edges better than the 17-mil Iron Grip.
Overall, the Nashua did as well as or better than the major brand tapes and I will recommend it for light to medium duty use.

IMPRESSIVE - Incredible Stuff. Works well for me. Very, very strong and very sticky. I used it to wrap and reinforce a large plastic tub in order to reinforce it and I used it to wrap boxes for overseas shipment 7000 miles away. I never had a box break. A lot better and stronger than regular plastic packing tape. The cloth design it what gives it it's strength. It has excellent adherence.

This heavy-duty duct tape is exactly what I was looking for. It is great and versatile for any homeowner. It is easy to tear and apply, and has a strong adhesive that attaches to most surfaces whether smooth or a little rough. It leaves little residue upon removal.
I was organizing my garage over the weekend so I was able to put his duct tape to the test on various applications. The 30 yard roll will last many months based on my usage rate. It meets my expectations but does not offer anything remarkable so I'm giving it four stars.
