Q:Was curious if this could be used to tape between kraft faced bats under the roof? Does it stick well to paper? Can you recommend a product you make that be better suited for this application if you dont think this would work well?

Answer This Question

A:  Hi there. Unfortunately, the 357 uses a natural rubber-based adhesive which won't work on kraft paper very well. You could look for a tape with an acrylic adhesive. Or perhaps you might try insulation support rods designed to hold the insulation between the studs.

    Q:Are any colors of Nashua 357 Ultra Premium Duct Tape UV Resistant? Sometimes black is UV. (Their 357 document does not say.) Thank you.

    A:  Hi there. Our 357 Black, White, and Silver tapes have pigments that provide UV stability. However, these items do not contain UV agents. The Black tape does provide the highest level of UV resistance. I hope this helps with your decision.

      A:  Thank you for your question. Due to the heavy-duty PE cloth backing and thick natural rubber adhesive featured on the Nashua 357 duct tape, it is well-suited for hanging poly sheeting on cement blocks. For best results, do your best to make sure the surfaces are clean and dry and apply at relatively mild temperatures (60-80F). Best of luck with your project!

        Co-creators: Nashua and EB Green (architect). EB Green Premium MilSpec Duck Tape, 2” x 60yards x 13 mil thick made from rubber, polyethylene (PE) coated DUCK cotton fabric TAPE for keeping moisture out of ammunition cases. ONLY difference: 357 is 1.89" w.

          This is the Navy gold standard for duct tape. I've seen people wrap this duct tape around bumpers and literally tow cars with it in a pinch. It sticks to everything-- EVERYTHING. This is far and clear th best bang for buck tape you're going to get.
