Product Overview

Fast-growing and easy to maintain, the Spider Plant has become one of the most popular room and office plants worldwide. The name refers to the tiny plantlets dangling from the ends of the mother plant’s wiry stems that resemble spiders floating on a web. Because of these dangling “spider-ettes”, Spider Plants are typically potted in hanging baskets, but will grow just as beautifully in traditional containers on mantles, tabletops and windowsills.

Hi Sophieloo - I have actually used yellow sticky traps and just place them in the soil with the plant that has the most. I had some major issues with them about 3 months ago and now hardly any! Thank you - National Plant Network

was packaged expertly, unfortunately due to storm it was in transport longer. I did manage to keep two plants alive.

plant shipped terrible
The plants showed barely alive with a rubberband wrapped around the base of the plant which “cut” off some if the leaves. They needed to be wrapped with brown paper and packed much better with no banding around the bases. I’m going to see if they’ll survive; if not they are being returned - I kept all the packing and box.

Very nice plants. They require water a couple times a week but most likely it's because of summer time.
