The seat is made with stain-resistant scotch guarded fabric, covering a 1 1/4 in. thick foam. As a part of the body builder line, these chairs are strong, durable and stable with a weight capacity of 480 lbs.

I ordered 4 boxes, 16 chairs, to give as Christmas gifts to my four adult children and their spouses. The chairs are comfortable and quite stable with two metal bars on the back legs which curve and are screwed on to the legs, oppose to just being stuck into the back leg. There is also one bracket supporting the front legs. The fabric is a pleasing tan color that could fit in any situation. A great product at an affordable cost.
