A: Howdy mairead, While you can install this on concrete, it is not a good idea to try and use it on concrete because the heat will crack the cement. This should be put in ground with sand as a base, and volcanic rock as a filler. happy heating, Coach Dave

A: We don't offer a fire pit cover ourselves but you can find them pretty inexpensive if you do a Google search. Just be sure to get one at least 30"x30" for the square fire pit and you should be set. Thank you!
