Approximately how long will the light work after charging for a day in the sun?

It says 6 hours. We've only used it for 4 hours so far. It is just as bright at 4 hours as it was when we turned it on, so I'm guessing 6 hours is probably correct.

Yes, you can charge it using electric power, however the charger is not included, it uses a small pen type , 12v charger. the sun is the best way to charge this unit. call 1800-588-0590 for any questions.

How many hours does it take for the battery to have a full charge? How many hours/minutes of light will a full charge provide?

If fully charged and placed in storage, how long will the battery retain at least 50% of the full charge?

We just set it in the window for the day, and it is fully charged. If you have it outside in the sun, it will be fully charged every day. It says it lasts 6 hours, which I believe because we have used it for 4 hours at a time, and it is still extremely bright at the end of those 4 hours.

Living on an island where power goes off unexpectantly and we are guaranteed no power during tropical depressions and storms..... this little light works like a charm! I don't have to worry about it burning the house down-it is safe. Provides good lighting in total darkness. Recharges anywhere.

The test is time; how long will they last? I'll try to report back in a year or so.

I use it as a bright flashlight to illuminate dark closets and to read cd and book titles in darker areas of bookshelves. It works better than a flashlight because it is hands free. It can be set on the floor or table or wall mounted and swiveled to direct the light where I need it. The light is nice and bright and I love the fact that it is solar powered-no batteries or electric required!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Solar LED lights Well built. Purposeful. It does exactly what it is meant to do. The only draw back is that it doesn't have an auto sensor, in order for it to turn itself on, automatically. If hung high, by it's bracket, one must take it down, in order to turn the device on & off. I didn't realize that, nor did the advertisement state that, when I ordered them. Although they do their job perfectly, they aren't exactly what I wanted or needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from handy solar lights I love the lights bacus they are handy to use. I put one on my tairway,inside the home, t night,and itt illuminates the whole stairway. I use another to rad the paper when th natural light is dim. I also like leaving them on when i go out at night. The light is so bright,it can be seen from the street,and would be burglars think someone is home. I alo use them lat at night when i hav to go look for the cat. They are much brightr than a flashlight. I can see the ground,and i won't be surprised by any foreign animals---especially skunks.Th lights can be used for anything anywhee,which maks them quite handy.
