7 ft. Pre-Lit Montana Mixed Pine Artificial Christmas Tree with Pine Cones, Berries and 500 Clear LED Lights

It was ok some of branches not quite as real looking as i would have liked but ok

First, the “good.” I shopped multiple web sites, and this was the only tree that offered the combination of varied branch types, true green color, clear LED lights, décor, and good realism that I wanted. I got the size I wanted (7 ft). Easy assembly, including electrical. The fuzzy green rings are attached to the stem; no installation or adjusting necessary. The lights look fine in daylight and dark. (I tested it in my sunroom.) Next, the “good to know.” The stand is metal and pretty ugly. I cover it anyway, so no problem. The lower 2 sections have hinged branches, but you fold down the branches in the top section. The top tip branch is there, and nice and long; it’s just folded down and hiding. It required channel locks and a strong person to get the covers off the bottoms of the stem pieces. At least they weren’t glued on. There is no foot switch for the lights. Now the “not so good.” It’s not dirty (I tested it with a damp paper towel), but it leaves a strange-feeling substance on my hands. Maybe something from the plastic? The screws on the stand that grip the tree stem are very short. They work, but just barely. A few of the berries have already come off despite careful handling on my part. The pine cones are very large. The ones at the top are so large they look quite odd up there. I will probably replace them with smaller ones. And the “bad.” Some of the branches are tipped with glitter. It gets everywhere and doesn’t vacuum up well. Also, my tree had not even shipped by the estimated arrival date (Oct 13). I had to call Home Depot Customer Service for help (Oct 16). (Thank you – good job!) When my tree arrived (Oct 21), the box was in such bad shape – punctured, taped, etc. – that I wonder if they reconstructed a box that had been thrown away. Fortunately, all parts are present and seem undamaged. I gave them 4 stars because it’s so hard to find this combination of features. I also like the easy assembly and no problems with the lights.
