Q:Is the table high enough underneath to put the base cabinets with casters on them?

      Answer This Question

A:  The table top can fit the Bold 3.0 cabinets underneath, the would not be able be puled in and out from the work bench due to the lip on the work top. Casters would not be recommended.

      by|Jan 4, 2017

A:  no it is not. I was hopping it was and purchased 4 cabinets and two tables to find out that I could not do that.

          Q:Clearance

          Answer This Question

A:  The clearance would be 64 inches width x 36 inch height (max.) x 20 inches deep.

          by|Sep 19, 2016

A:  Depending on small adjustments to leveling legs, I have about 34 and 1/4 inches cross-member to floor. The bench is 24 inches deep, but if you want something to fit under it between the long cross-members there is just under 17 inches, and just over 64 inches between the end legs.

GREAT Bench! Very beautiful piece of furniture.
I would 100% recommend this bench to anyone looking for a bench that isn't your typical "particle board" purchase that I've been so used to. It is a VERY solid workbench and VERY heavy. It is definitely easier with an extra set of hands. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the bamboo top isn't already predrilled. Make sure you have a 1/16 inch drill bit ready because you'll be drilling quite a few pilot holes to screw screws into to. Would have gone much faster if the holes were there already. Not a huge deal but it made it a 3 hour job instead of just a 1 hour job. Also, 1 of the screws I was hand screwing in broke as I was screwing it in which forced me to drill a hole through the steel beside it and use a wood screw from my tool box. Also, a tip for attaching the back tray...a 1/16 drill bit won't do it. I ended up having to use a larger drill bit to make the hole big enough to screw the larger screws into. If you aren't a little handy and have tools/extra parts available this might not be for you. But it is BEAUTIFUL once finished and definitely worth the effort in my opinion. You could even leave off the tool tray and have a nice piece for your kitchen. I personally use it for my desk in my office. I hope this helps someone. I have attached a picture so you can see how gorgeous it is inside the house. Might buy another for my garage at this price.

              Frustrating. Avoid this product!
Serious QC issues. One of the long cross beams was *missing* one of the four threaded inserts, and one of the legs had a wobbly, defective threaded insert that wouldn't accept a hex bolt. By the time I finished assembling the metal frame, I had two unused hex bolts that were not possible to install. Furthermore, I also managed to torque the head off of one of the wood screws with my Phillips screwdriver, and strip the head on two more. Not worth the time or money to ship back to the manufacturer. Would rather throw away. Disappointing, given all the five-star reviews. Should simply have paid more for a better-quality product.

                Fantastic, especially for price
We have a new home and the kitchen is very small. We wanted something we could use as a table for two, standing work space and charging station. This table looks great in our little space. Very sturdy. Looks much more expensive than its price. Will be adding chrome barstools to complete look. Did not attach the power cord. Put the tray along the back rather than attaching it to table.

                CONVENIENTLY SIZED WORK TABLE
Assembly of stand was pretty straight forward. There are no holes pre-drilled in the bamboo top so you have to set it, measure, drill and then screw down in place. Would have been much easier if it was already drilled for placement of the top. The height is great for standing or sitting on a bar stool to work. The power strip is quite convenient though they missed not making it a surge protector for your tools. The narrow width makes it easy to fit against the wall without being in the way. It was just wide enough to add my paper cutter to the end. The long length is ideal for spreading your work out. It's a sturdy unit without wobble. Added felt pads to the feet so they wouldn't scratch hardwood flooring. Overall a nice work table all around with just a few points missed.

                Excellent product for any use!
FAST delivery! Damage-free on arrival! Quick and easy transaction (purchased online from Newage)! This workbench has functioned beautifully as a concession table for my home theatre. The bench is easy to assemble, sturdy, simple to clean, and the height-adjustable levelling feet are a great bonus. The only drawback I've noticed is the powerbar cannot be fastened to the rear of the bench when the storage tray is attached - there is too little clearance.

                Excellent narrow kitchen island!
I bought this for my newly renovated kitchen. It's not big enough for a built in island, but I wanted at least a work table. The 48" bamboo top work bench seats two comfortably (I left the tray off). Assembly was easy, even for city people without shops. The only things I wish it came with is locking rubber casters and instructions for caring for the bamboo top.

                Worth every penny
Awesome workbench. Incredible real bamboo work surface. I had to put my Ikea furniture assembly mindset aside when putting this workbench together because there are no pre-drilled holes or quirky swedish drawings to guide your way. Just your instincts and your tools to guide the way. The information you need is provided to assemble this workbench, but there is no one way to complete the job. It's awesome. I ended up not using the rear cable tray and only used the included power strip mounted in the front (you can put it on the sides as well). Did I mention I love the real bamboo? This is built to last.

Excellent table - Love the bamboo top
The table is very heavy and sturdy. It was fairly easy to assemble. The legs have adjustable feet so you can level it on all types of flooring. We are using this table for arts and crafts, so we regularly have the glue gun plugged in and it helps that this table has a power bar because we can also charge phones, tablet, and other things. I love the bamboo top, it looks so nice! This is what makes the table stand out.

                Very nice and sturdy workbench
The table is very heavy, so I opened the box in my garage and started to carry a few pieces at a time since this table is for my basement. I assembled all by myself, pretty easy, but the #8 screws that shows on the instructions ended up being either 12 or 14, really big. I didn’t realize that until I had already marked and drilled a hole. I had a tough time finding #8 wood screws with the pan head big enough to hold the accessories compartment. The bamboo top was very scratched on one side, but I didn’t want to bother with a replacement since I can use either side and the other side was in perfect condition. This table is great for arts and crafts and my daughter’s school projects. She likes the table a lot better than some big desk for this purpose. The table is sturdy and I love the bamboo top so I hope it lasts.

                Using it as a desk
Easy to assemble. Very sturdy. I needed a temporary desk to fit in a bay window, but I didn't want to spend money on something I would never use again. This workbench really fits the bill. I have the iPad stand and am using the tool tray to hold office supplies. The power bar is a sweet bonus! When I no longer need a desk in this location, I will use it as the workbench it is intended to be.
