We planned to replace our very old balcony tile and were prepared to have the old tile removed and new porcelain tile installed. We hesitated because of the expense. Then I ran across this product and decided to try it out. We laid it ourselves on top of the old tile. It was simple to install, looks great and feels terrific to walk on with bare feet. We couldn't be happier. The only drawback is that the tiles which had to be cut were tricky. I had to "remake" quite a few along the wall because the gap was small but not small enough to leave without a tile. With some epoxy and a bit off Yankee Ingenuity, however, it came out great. See pics for a before and after look. Now everyone in our building is wanting to install these.

Couldn't Be More Pleased... Really!
We installed our tile over a concrete finished balcony deck. It went from a grimy stained floor with a rough finish that was impossible to clean to a beautiful high quality finish. It has changed the feel of the space completely even though we thought it looked pretty good before with the furnishings and plantings. The tile went down very quickly. The tiles on one side need to be trimmed on a diagonal to fit the space. It took about three hours total from start to finish. It seems very sturdy and the water from my plants now runs nicely under the tile to the drain in the deck. Love it. VERY pleased.

This is a affordable solution for patios or slabs.
It's "green," for those to which such things matter most.
Free freight; 25 boxes and containers of edge and corner trim delivered inside my garage.
Snaps together easily. You'll need a table saw to trim accordingly if your surface is not an exact multiple of 1 sq ft.
