Product Details

Newhouse Hardware's CHM1 door chime is a modern replacement chime for your doorbell and is intended for hardwired installation and may be used with 1 or 2 doors. It features 2 distinctive chimes, 2-note melody for the front door and 1-note melody for the back door, so you'll know which door to head to. Powered by a 16-Volt AC transformer, sold separately (search Newhouse Hardware model# 16TR or 3TRAN). A great addition or replacement for your home.
  • 2 sounds: classic 2-note ding dong sound for the front door button and has an additional connection with a separate dong for the rear or side door
  • Dimensions: cover: 7-1/4 in. W x 4-1/8 in. L base: 7 in. W x 3-7/8 in. L overall depth: 2 in.
  • Compatibility: use with a 16-Volt/10-Volt A or 16-Volt/15-Volt A transformer (not included) when connecting to a regular doorbell, search 16TR or 3TRAN for a compatible transformer
  • Includes: door chime and mounting screws (found inside the chime cover)
  • Troubleshooting: Issues with the chime MAY NOT be with the chime itself. Common issues include a buzzing/humming noise, chime only plays one note from the front push button, chime is ringing by itself and the chime doesn't ring. Please contact us via our website for troubleshooting tips
