Fonally found the correct type of chime for indoors! It's been a long process.This one is perfect except for the fact that the dong doesn't happen until around 10 seconds after the ding......weird.

We use this door chime at an adult day center to let staff be aware of door opening. It is used several times a day. I like it because it only requires two screws to install and no batteries. Priced very reasonable. Highly recommend it especially for "wanderers", the bell lets you know if someone is entering or leaving.

I like the fact that this product is battery operated. It works very well. There is no sneaking in or out of the house. It was very quick and easy to install. This door chime from what I can see will fit almost any door. This chime is also loud enough that I can here it when in the basement. Ihave not found any thing I dislike. I have had it for three weeks now. I really like it. Helps keep all adults and kids honest. I did get another to install on the back door also.

A Gadgetman DIY scale of easy, If I had my way this would come with some double stick tape as that made the install much easier.. The chime has a very pleasant tone. I am very pleased with this project.. Mounted on a steel door with a wood jamb required drilling for the mounting screws, and it would have been much easier with some auto grade double stick tape.
