Lighted door chime button - 2.75 inches high, brass, 20-Pack - use with doorbell chimes, bells and door buzzers. Works great with as a doorbell button replacement. PLEASE NOTE: A diode is needed (not included) if you are using a digital chime (plays a melody; has a speaker for the sound). A diode is not needed is you are using a mechanical doorbell chime (2-Note sound; has a small mallet hitting a metal bar for the sound). Does not include doorbell wire WARNING: This product may expose you to chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive harm

This door chime button adds an elegant look to my front door area. Although I have a solar light aimed at the front porch, this lighted button eliminates any question regarding where the button is located. I installed the button horizontally to be sure the screws were into solid wood behind the vinyl siding without affecting the contour of the siding. I wish the screws for mine had a Philips screwdriver socket. Careful use of a flat screw driver easily turns these screws and anchors the button securely. The back of the button has ample space for enough wire to easily attach the wires and still mount the button flush against the siding.

My old doorbell button needed replacement and this one was the exact size. This brass lighted door chime button works like a charm, and the installation was quick and easy. Simply unscrew and remove the old button and swap it with this new brass color button. I had to use the old/original screw since the plastic anchors on the wall were large for the new thinner screw. This was no big deal and the button work perfectly. I like how strong the light brightens the button and allows for easily detecting the doorbell. Now people can easily see and ring the doorbell at night. It goes perfectly next to my front door, and it is well-made.

The Lighted Door Chime Button, Brass is such a classy, easy upgrade to your existing doorbell - whether broken or not! Our doorbell was broken upon moving in, we needed a new one, and wanted a simple installation, easy instructions, and a class look/feel. The doorbell came ready to hang and includes all you need for assembly! Simply unscrew your existing and swap it out with this!

The Newhouse Hardware rectangular lighted door chime button brass #BT2BL is rated a five star for the following reasons, The unit was easy to install and it being a lighted button on my dark porch made a big difference for visitors to announce themselves. I received it last Friday, July 26th by UPS. It looked nice brass looking oblong plastic cover with lighted ivory button. I had it to replace doorbell with broken lighted button on the side door of my house. it was easy to replace to my existing doorbell. So simple to install with easy instruction by unscrewing the broken doorbell to install the existing doorbell. Nice to see lighted button during the night.
