Lighted door chime button - 2.75 inches high, white, 20-Pack - use with doorbell chimes, bells and door buzzers. Works great with as a doorbell button replacement. PLEASE NOTE: A diode is needed (not included) if you are using a digital chime (plays a melody; has a speaker for the sound). A diode is not needed is you are using a mechanical doorbell chime (2-Note sound; has a small mallet hitting a metal bar for the sound). This door chime button finally allows visitors to let me know they are at the door. The fact it is lighted eliminates any question regarding where the button is located. Since I have vinyl siding, and I wanted the button mounted with the screws into solid wood behind the siding, I installed the button horizontally. This prevents the button from altering the contour of the vinyl siding as visitors push it. There is ample room in the button case to accommodate the wires. I was able to leave enough length in the wires to easily attach the wires and still mount the button flush with the siding.

I needed to replace some doorbells button and these are exactly the same size. The white lighted door chime button works like a charm, and the installation was easy and quick less than 5 minutes. Simply unscrew and remove the old and swap it with this new brass color button. I use the old/original screw since the plastic anchors on the wall were larger for the screw that came in the box. This was no big deal and the buttons work perfectly. I like how strong the light brightens the button and allows easy detection; people can easily see and ring the doorbell at night. These are perfect replacement doorbell buttons.

I really like the Home Depot white plastic case outdoor doorbell lite wall switch. It is 2 7/8” high by 7/8” wide and has two mounting holes that are 2 1/4” on center which is the standard mounting measurement. It comes with two non-magnetic, non-rusting stainless steel screws which is excellent for mounting the switch outdoors. Because it is internally lite and powered 24/7 by doorbell system, it helps visiting friends as well as the parcel delivery driver can easily find the doorbell switch in the darker evening hours to notify me that she or he has delivered a package.

This is a nice, lighted doorbell button.
There are no instructions, but installation is straight forward. I removed the old door chime button from the wall. There were two Phillips head screws holding it in. Then, there are two wires that connect to the back of the button. I loosened the screws holding the wires in with a screwdriver. With the new doorbell button, I unscrewed the two Phillips head screws on the back. Attached each wire as is was on the old doorbell button and screwed the wires in place. Once the wires were attached, the LED light illuminated. The light is bright enough to see through both the button and the button body. Then, I screwed the body onto the wall with the two Phillips head screws that come with the button. Pressing on the button closed the circuit and my door bell rang. The LED light is on 24/7 so if you have a porch light that isn't on all the time, it's nice to have some light for visitors to see the doorbell button location.
The parts are excellent and it works.

The lighted door chime button is slimmer than most door chime buttons, which allows you to install in a narrow space. It is well lite and has a nice push feel to it. When installing the wires one screw let the back rise up from the housing which made it a bit harder to install the wire. by using your finger to push the board back down the wire can be easily slipped under the mounting screw. The spring load is perfect and it works very well.
