Excellent product easy to put together

Decent quality for the price. Does what I needed it to at the very least. What I dislike is the power cord just hangs from the middle and dangles there. Not aesthetically pleasing at all. I wish I had been more aware when ordering. I used tape to tape it to one of the legs.

The box is essentially the size of the shade. I let my daughter and wife do the assembly on this. They had it assembled and working in about 4 minutes. The switch is step-contact floor switch. My wife was impressed that is not only came with a bulb-- but an LED bulb that was the right brightness and worked. Great for a first apartment-- which is where it is now.

The cord comes out of the fixture under the light bulb and hangs to the ground. You can buy some zip ties to attach it to s leg easily. The pictures are not a true example as the cord has been removed from the pictures. Like all lights immediately open the box and check if the lamp shade is in perfect shape. The bulb that comes with this light is very bright. The lamp does not dim.

I really like the way this lamp looks like. Very modern with clear lines while being discreet and stylish. I find a bit deceptive that none of the photos show the big white wire that goes between the legs of the lamp: not super good looking. The light is good with the provided LED bulb, perfect for writing/reading over an armchair. I find the whole lamp flimsy: the legs keeps unscrewing themselves and, as a consequence, the lamp is quite unstable. It is also not that cheap for what it is.

This is a rather good looking lamp! It is both aesthetically pleasing and it does provide adequate light with the included bulb. It takes about 2.5 minutes to install the lamp, it is super fast. Nonetheless, I have to be honest here: it is rather flimsy. The legs seem to unscrew themselves all the time leaving the lamp unstable (high center of gravity does not help.) It seems impossible to tighten the legs properly. It is a bit disappointing for a lamp which price is quite above the entry level range. If the manufacturer improves the quality of its product (I have two of those and they are both flimsy), it would become a great lamp!

So I got this floor lamp and started to put it together, the instructions were very easy and is was easy to put together. It has a nice tripod design, came with its own light bulb and lamp shade. You have to really tighten the legs tight. When placing the lamp where you want it go make sure you have a nice space has the legs are a little spread out. It does give a soft light to the room. Overall I do like it.

I have searched for a lamp with this style that is reasonably priced for several months. This is a really nice lamp. I love the tripod design as it is featured in many of the design magazines now. I love the LED lighting and the shade is very neutral. I love the ease of turning it on and off with the floor pedal. The style is upscale and the metal rods go together in 10 minutes without any tools needed. This is a very easy lamp to assemble and it comes with complete directions and the light bulb. Don't look any further if you are trying to make up your mind, this is the one to purchase.

This tripod floor lamp by Alexandria came the other day and I wasted no time in putting it together. Unboxing was a bit problematic as the parts were packaged with a large amount of tape, and then secured to the box with double-sided foam tape. In all fairness, securing the parts this way did protect the lamp shade. The tripod is actually comprised of nine sections that form the three legs. The pieces screw into each other, the bottom-most having a plastic cap to protect the floor. The assembled legs then screw into a metal base that holds the lamp/shade assembly. Once assembled, it looks nice in our mid-century living room. The supplied LED bulb along with the foot switch is a nice addition. That said, there's few things I'm not crazy about: The legs are thin and spindly, and I don't expect a long life out of them. The metal base they screw into appears barely adequate, and the white power cord doesn't seem to fit the design well. (See the photo, you be the judge.) We don't have a dog or youngsters around the house, but if we did, I wouldn't give this lamp long to live. It's a nice contemporary look and I love that, I'll just be careful where to locate it.

I like this lamp quite a bit, I especially like the simplicity of it, when you look at the first picture you can see what you get, a package of threaded rods, a shade, a bulb, and a socket... It went from box to assembled in about 3 minutes. It looks great, the color of the brass/gold is very modern but lends itself to several decors. It looked good in each place we tried it, but we settled on next to the piano. Which brings me to the only thing I don't love about it, I love that it has a foot switch for on and off, but I wish it had some cable management built in, or maybe was a clear wire insulation. The wall it is against is an off white so it's not super noticeable but against a darker background the wire stands out at first. The fact that you forget it's there by day two (and me having it on a white backdrop) is why It is still 5 stars though. Overall it is a great light and a great value. It even comes with an LED bulb that gives off good light at probably 2700K color.
