Does anyone know the lumen output of this bulb?

Does anyone know the lumen output of this bulb?
Asked by: Cam
the reference to 210 watt equivalent means "incandescent equivalent" so even if highest performance leds of 140 lumens per watt, that would mean equivalent of about about 30-40 watts of "actual" power--which in turn means means absolute max of 40 times 140 equals about 5600 lumens best case. That means the number given of 22,000 is profoundly wrong. answerer erroneously multiplies 210 by 105 instea of bout 27--did not understand what is meant by " 210 watt equivalent" A growlight without a "reasonably" accurate light output figure is a "non product" at any price amazing what one reads Edd

Wow, this grow light is much heavier and bigger than lights I've used in the past, but it creates way less heat and uses much less electricity, which is great! I usually grow a bunch of herbs and maybe some cherry tomatoes and lettuce during the long winters here in NY. As soon as I start growing in my basement I can see the electric bills tip up some $10 a month. Add it up and I spend almost $50 growing my vegi's each year. That's actually a little more than if we just went out and bought organic greens all winter, so I was actually going to stop growing indoors. But now I see my electric bill hardly changing month to month so I'm back, baby! My wife wanted me to use the light upstairs in the kitchen, but the light is a little too intense, so we're keeping it downstairs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Once mogul-to-standard adapters were delivered (not in box at first... Once mogul-to-standard adapters were delivered (not in box at first delivery), these lights appear to work as advertised. Needed to call HD to get the adapters delivered by mail a few days after the first delivery. Would be excellent but for that. The lights give a strong pinkish output combines red light (mostly) and some blue; reading about grow lights indicates these are the colors best for plant growth. The lights have broad light distribution +/-45 degrees from forward direction. We are using for our citrus (lemon and grapefruit) trees that come indoors to a south-facing window in October-May. The amount of natural light available is borderline and the trees normally lose many leaves and seem to struggle. It's still early but after 2 weeks indoors supplemented by the new lights, the trees are doing well and leaves are staying bright green.

I have several grow lights in my greenhouse that I use for starting seeds. I noticed the flat directly under the NewHouse grow light were not growing at the same rate as the other flats of seedlings. I did receive a mogul adapter seemed to work in all my lamp sockets. The light and packaging did not show any damage. The reviews on this lamp do show highly efficient light dispersion. So I'm wondering if the light itself is defective. I did contact NewHouse customer service via email on their website and await their response.

I haven't had this long enough to say if it grows plants any different than any other LED grow light, but I suspect that it will do just fine. It has both the blue and red LEDs so it is full spectrum. The heat sink seems pretty substantial. This is important to the longevity of the driver and diodes. It is a pretty good size, probably enough to thoroughly cover a 4' x 4' bed. Works well so far. I am using it on a smaller area, about 3' x 3'.

The 210 watt equivalent red/blue LED grow light comes with a standard adapter so you can use the ends for a couple of different lamp holders. This is a large light measuring about 8 inches across the bulb itself. It is a 70 watt LED the makes it equal to 210 watts. It is easy to use and puts out a lot of light to help you grow a variety of veggies or flowers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from + mogul to standard adapter loose on top of packing + nice honeycomb large heat sink +/- mogul ad... + mogul to standard adapter loose on top of packing + nice honeycomb large heat sink +/- mogul adapter adds a bit over an inch in length - seems dim for 50 watts The pictures don't reflect actual brightness; there's a 340w HPS conversion and a 36,000 lumen lamp that dim the cameras, and the dated pic is from a Guardzilla wifi monitor that gets wide hertz bands from both the HPS and the corncob. And, I moved this ufo more directly on top of the prickly pear on Sunday -- pics were taken Friday, and today, Monday, the PP's ears doubled in size and pushed the ufo away from itself. But -- Saturday, Sunday and today I worked out directly in front of the grow tent's 6" inline intake fan, which is supposed to be roughly a day's worth of CO2 from a tank. But -- I have a 4" inline fan pushing, and three floor flaps open, so who knows. I'm new to prickly pears; the one in the tent is growing much faster than four with fewer lumens inside but not in a tent, with a very pink very anemic grow light -- again, who knows what's responsible for what. The heatsink gets unpleasantly hot to the touch, so it is pushing a good deal of power through its driver. I can't tell how the diodes are arranged; I have an underdriven 192w cob, which I'll conservatively guess is actually drawing ~65 watts -- it's a cob, it has a significant disco mirror above it, but it pierces a canopy, whereas I would use this as a supplement for the canopy, or as pictured for succulents without a canopy. This is well reviewed elsewhere, so I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt. I'm certainly not displeased with the ~50%? accelerated growth rate in four days, and at worst it certainly isn't retarding growth. Heat from the heat sink did not bump temps in a 5'x5'x6.5' tent, but with more (no filter) airflow than necessary.
